I'm mixed on the Yukon pizza. On one hand, I love it. On the other hand, so do hipsters.

There are people in this town who are more hipster than I am, and there are lots of people who are less hipster. I ride a fixed gear, but it has a front brake. I have tattoos, but I don't have spacers. I'll grow a beard, but I shave my head. I don't wear skinny jeans, but I do wear skinny-ish jeans. I'm a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a vest.

I think you can just like pizza without it being social commentary.

I was merely suggesting that you could eat what you like without worrying about whether it's a "hipster food." Or don't! I don't actually care.

Oh louzilla I can't watch that now that I see what it is. The 10! Show and all the NBC correspondents are IDIOTS. I watch some NBC news (or my phl 17 which is the same) every day bc it's almost a game now, to see how long they can go without saying something completely idiotic.

I never watch it, my friend just sent me the link to this segment but yeah. They are definitely idiots. At least in the end the guy ended up liking the food...

How convenient that Blackbird was right on the way to my CPR class today!
I was pretty excited. I got two slices with pepperoni and broccoli rabe, and then I heard someone call my name and it was penguingirl! So I got to hang out with her for a bit and eat awesome vegan pizza.
I don't think I'm allowed to live in the delivery radius for this place, ever. I would eat so much pizza that I would turn into one. I would have little daiya trees growing in my ears.

Tomato pie? Like pizza with no cheese? or like pizza, sauce, cheese, tomatoes on top? or like tomato-bread crust? or something else i haven't yet been clever enough to imagine?

Tomato pies are usually either focaccia-like dough or thin-crust (the latter I think is "Trenton style") with tomato sauce and (sometimes) grated cheese. I think they are traditionally served at room temperature. For some odd reason, they're square. I'm not a huge fan, but I do like the pie at Tacconelli's (in the northeast) with sweet peppers.

Trenton is no laughing matter. Even though their bridge cracks me up every time I am heading to New York.

I second the motion for tomato pie! My hubby is not a fan of Daiya cheese and sometimes I'd just like a really good tomato pie slice. Since I moved to upstate NY, I haven't had any good tomato pie (they really don't even know what it is up here). :(
