Man that is a good idea. I'm always writing these things down and leaving little pieces of paper around everywhere (like my purse) that end up getting tossed because I hate the clutter. I have a notepad, might as well designate it as strictly vegan!

I have black hair and black-framed glasses and I'm wearing black/gray/white suit pants today (there is a certain theme, it seems). Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Yea!! Really enjoyed meeting you all! I'm also excited how productive we were (or at least agreeable/in sync). This is going to be the bestest bake sale evah! I wish I could make that chocolate caramel pie that Isa said tasted like Twix. Are any of you recipe testers for the pie book?

ALSO, the place that I was thinking about in Porter by Sudo Shoes is called Greenward. No 'ever' in the title at all. It was probably brain fog... :)

Good Morning Ladies! I am going to the pro-veg rally at BU tomorrow put on by MARC, I will be letting Helen and Steve know that we selected their sanctuary as ther recipient of our bake sale profits! Does anybody have any questions they would like me or anything you want me to mention to them? Also, here is the basic rally info if you want to stop by: WHAT: Pro-Veg, Pro-Earth Rally at Boston University WHEN: Saturday March 5, 1:00-2:30 pm WHERE: Meet outside Marsh Chapel 735 Commonwealth Avenue. If you want more details, pm me and I will email it to you. Also, if we are going to be creating a facebook page for our event we should all be FB friends and admins on it. My fb is in my sig for those of you I'm not friends with yet. I'm also on twitter @veganfoodrocks. I can't wait to get a place and date picked so we can really start spreading the word!

We can't do it in any T stations. :( MBTA guy wrote: The MBTA does not allow anything to be sold at T stations – no money can change hands.
The Girl Scouts/Boy Scouts have been grandfathered in. Liz, can you post your other notes from dinner last night? Since we still have to find a location you may as well ask them if they have any ideas. I'll keep looking up churches and stuff.

Boo!
The CVS on Newbury street where there are sometimes people playing music seems to get a lot of foot traffic? Or down by Trident? Maybe we could contact Trident to see if they'd be interested in us being around anyway. Nothing like washing down some sweet potato fries with a nice vegan cupcake.

Since we still have to find a location you may as well ask them if they have any ideas. I'll keep looking up churches and stuff. stupid kids. (kidding. kind of. ) Okay I'm sure we can come up with something. I know its going to be the end of April beginning of May but we might want to think about risking the outdoors, espec if we can get that tent! We can find out about getting a permit or whatever we need. Okay, here is the jist of what I scribbled last night in no particular order: Charity/Organization: We have decided to donate all proceeds to Sunny Meadow Sanctuary with the possibilty of alloting some for MARC. Place Ideas: Harvard Sq, Brattle, Davis, BU, churches? Spreading the word: Brandy does graphic design so flyers are a pretty sweet idea! We will be creating a FB event as well as reaching out to possible Harvard Veg Groups(if there are any) MARC, BVS and other Veg groups in the area. Raffle Items: Johnny Cupcakes? Gift Card to a veg or eco friendly store/restaurant. Okay, thats all the notes I have because I was busy stuffing my face so please share your thoughts and ideas. I'm really excited and confident that we are going to put on a badass bake sale! What's next? Picking a spot and a date! I will see if Helen and Steve have any suggestions since they are always in the city doing rallies and protests. Lets start making a list and making some contacts. Picking a date will def be nec for picking a spot. The WWVBS runs from Sat April 23 to Sun may 1, we have some options as far as weekend days but with the warmer weather(hopefully) creeping up on us we should narrow it down to 1 day with another as a backup so we can make sure we are all available as well as whatever space we are trying to secure.

Bake sale friends, add me on Facebook here: http://facebook.com/brandybinghamLiz, thanks for the notes! Don't forget to ask your bakery friend if they can spare any boxes. I have close to 90 gable boxes I think, which I bought from here: http://www.nashvillewraps.com/basket-su ... -kw95.htmlThese are good too: http://www.nashvillewraps.com/candy-box ... w0903.htmlIt would also be nice to have some stands for our goodies - there's something about putting cupcakes on a pretty platter that makes people want to buy more of them. If anyone knows people who has these, ask if we can borrow some!
