I was able to get one this year as well. Both Rollin Oats and Publix has them this year. I must have self control though, because I haven't eaten it yet.

How much are you guys paying for your honeycrisps? I buckled down and bought one on Sunday, despite the $3.99/lb price tag, because I was really craving one.

Honeycrisps are the best!! I haven't been able to find those for awhile, galas and fujis are a good replacement though.

I love the taste, but as soon as I have a couple bites, I feel really sick, like I'm going to puke.
So I love them, but I hate them too.

I love them. I found cider made from honeycrisps at the farmer's market yesterday and it's amazing.

i stopped eating all other apples after i found honeycrisps! and i start up conversations with strangers in the grocery store about them, even though i don't really like talking to strangers. i buy them for my co-workers. hope they'll be around for at least a few months.
so far this year i've paid $1.99 and $2.49 a pound for conventionals and $2.49 for organic (canadian $$).
i eat one every day, sliced with almond hazelnut butter.

I think they're in season through March but I could be wrong. They have them at Sam's right now $4.88 for a 3 lb bag, but they keep moving them around the store so the first time I couldn't find them I almost cried. I'm hooked. Two a day, minimum.

I just got them for $1.99/lb! They're so damned big that five of them cost me $10. And poop, I just ate the last of my almond butter- they would have tasted so good together.

How did I miss this thread? H-crisps are my favorite food. I was sick and they didn't taste good, therefore, I must have been dying. Now I am alive 100% and eating at least one a day.
We found honeycrisp apple juice which is more like cider and my gooooodness it is good, but surprisingly sour. We now have 5 jugs of it.
