Thanks for keeping your avatar, (Jo)celyn! I guess I could have studied the "new user names" thread more carefully.
And, I love Portland too!

Isn't it around 40th & Belmont in SE?
Also! If you're into processed stuff (and let's admit, we all are at some time) Amy's Kitchen frozen stuffs, including the brand new vegan mac, is 40% off at Fred Meyers until Saturday.
(not that I bought one, but I totally did)

so many carts, so little time, money, and ability to bike to every single one before they all close.
DC Vegetarian owns my heart in a big way. Living proof that slathering enough vegannaise on something makes it amazing.
Also, who here loves Secret Aardvark? to not have any in my house is sacrilege.

oh also, does anyone want to host a dinner for my friend joshua ploeg? he will come to your house and cook a six course meal for you and 15-20 of your friends. it is free to host (albeit dishes), and it only costs a suggested $20 donation per person. six courses! he is amazing, too.
he has an opening on october 28th.

xo kittee WHAT? Also, could Mr Ploeg do his magic at People's? I'm not sure of their schedule or set up, but there's plenty of room at least!

is there a stocked kitchen? like with pots and pans and dishes?? I remember stashing a pan in the kitchen during the bake sale, but I'm not sure how complete it is. But I just checked their schedule and they have yoga that night from 7:30 to 9pm, so that wouldn't work. Unless they would like to do "table and chairs" pose.
