ijustdiedinside wrote: it was probably store bought seitan. i can't believe i didn't hear them say that! that episode was so messed up with the sexy time craig t nelson. it seriously scarred me for life. PLUS, i thought it was really messed up that he suddenly was into his wife just because she agreed with him once. but mostly ewww!! Eww indeed, I pressed fast forward. And it's funny how they drop plot lines pretty quickly. What happened to Zeke's bad investment and their marital problems?. Oh and from a few weeks back, the medical marijuana lollypop scene was loltastic/silly, their sibling dance parties are always so cheesy!

Yeah, he's adorables. Clearly her parents have no idea what else she could be dating. If they did, they'd realize he's awesome.

Haddie's parents were so annoying so I'm glad they got over it although I thought they were going to make Peter end up hating him when he was at their house & then at the basketball game, he was a bit of a tool that episode too!

I love this show! I was so irritated that it was a re-run last night. So yeah, the vegetarian episode kine of irked me. I mean, what 8 year old kid would like seitan, especially from someone who has never even made it before so they don't know how to make it taste good? They should've just made her some boca chicken nuggets, or gardein chicken strips or something. Or even just some spaghetti with marinara?
And I loooove Alex! But I do understand how the parents wouldn't want their daughter dating someone with his own apartment, although I could never even see Alex putting the sexy moves on her haha!

I love this about her and I think it totally goes with her character. She's a jeans and comfy shirt and no makeup kind of girl, and that's really refreshing. I'm so sick of super stylish teenagers on TV.

I actually love the show, just don't get around to watching it much. Max is adorable and acts very much like me as a kid. (I have Asperger's) I reviewed Parenthood before because of it's storyline with Max. I find it entirely realistic and a good model for the public.
Oh, and on the note of the bug guy; the inventor of Pocket Monsters/Pokemon has Asperger's and his obsession with bugs..made him very successful. By the way, the book they tried to hand him looks like the one by Luke Wilson called "Freaks, Geeks, and Asperger's Syndrome: A User's Guide to Adolescence".

And presumably worked past in the characters' lives between seasons - season two opened with Zeke doing the whole "I hear you" mantra with his wife, right?

oh crepe i wanted to record that. and I don't know! lots of stuff is on hiatus right now so maybe it's not a horrible sign. though, really, parenthood is amazing and therefore doomed.
