i spend the summer in san francisco (hello all things vegan), but am from new england - grew up in vermont, school in boston.

and as for san francisco, gracias madre (http://www.gracias-madre.com/web/) in the mission district was by far my favorite. it's a totally-vegan mexican restaurant that sources almost all of its fruits and veggies locally. the bay area was great in that every single coffee shop, no matter how chain or run-of-the-mill had vegan desserts and soy milk readily available. it was pretty cool. i like baltimore (and other quasi-vegan friendly places) because in the bay it was just so "normal" to be veg that you kinda forget about the fight and about how many people still don't care.

Newsie, I don't have a time in mind yet. They are open 12-6 Sunday so maybe closer to 1pm would give them some time to get ready for us? Anyone else have suggestions? When I have a better head count (probably Friday or Saturday) I will call and let them know we are coming.

Has anyone beet to Yabba Pot before? I know where it is (kinda) because I found it while getting lost once. Does anyone know where to park, other than on the street? There was a grocery store nearby but it scared me. lol.

Newsie, parking can be a little tight, but I can usually find a spot on 25th St. I don't know of any good lots that are close by. At least it should be nice weather outside if you need to walk a block or two!
