I just got my copy today! I'm so excited to make everything from it. What is your favourite recipe from it? What should I make first?

The tamale pie is so good. I used to make it at least once a week.

Alright! I will. But just because I trust the PPK : ) [and because the food looks awesome].

Sloppy Joannas, Tamale Pie, Taco Salad, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy (droooooool!), Cajun Baked Tofu, Grilled Portobellos, Tofu Scramble, Lemon Pepper Swiss Chard, Collard Greens
Actually, everything in there is great. I had issues with the Mojito Pie, but that was because I used the full amount of rum and it just didn't work properly, so Joanna suggested not being so rum-greedy next time. It is easily one of my favorite cookbooks, and Joanna made me not hate TVP.

Another vote for the mustard crusted seitan. And the tofu marsala is delicious. Dirrrty rice & beans (this is especially good with the smoky avocado sauce from ED&BV). Creamy pepita dressing. Spice cake. Everything, really!

I think this is what I will make first. I have always had issues with making seitan but I really want to make it work. And those green beans look so damn good.

Reading this, I decided to look on Amazon to see if there were enough used copies that I could wait a bit before buying. There are only two, and they are going for $200!!! I guess I better hurry up and buy one (NOT from Amazon), jeebus. ETA: I just ordered two copies (one for the emergency gift reserve)!

I ordered my copy earlier this week, I can't wait for it to arrive.
Mustard crusted seitan sounds glorious. And tofu masala? So excited.
