and Belle & Sebastian! and Boards of Canada (even though they're out somewhere in the highlands)!

speaking of which, what's the best place to stalk spot Stuart Murdoch?

<3 Obviously you misunderstood that I cannot move there until the Queen lets me in and lets me work and/or I'll just marry someone on my visit. Until then, I shall visit and possibly kidnap you and bring you back to the States.

Pee on my biscuits? You will do no such thing. I make hair-free delicious biscuits and gravy and you will like them. Bonus pancakes on the side.

Boards of Canada went to my school! And really, the thing to do is spend a day in Glasgow and not bump into a member of Belle and Sebastian...

great, now i'm imagining Glasgow as a twee dreamland where everybody goes to church together and spends the rest of their time reading literature, playing instruments, and looking shyly at the ground (even though i'm pretty sure it's not quite like that). in an odd way it's making me miss my partner, which is in turn making me sad.

but yeah, i've been wanting to visit Scotland for several years now. maybe we'll go up for a long weekend after we're married.

All I remember about Glasgow are the granite buildings, lots of short people and getting legless in Paisley student union bar.

I don't think I have ever actually been to Glasgow. Possibly once, when I was a kid but I am not sure. It was somewhere in Scotland, anyway.
