I tried searching for a thread on this, but couldn't find anything (crappy search skills?).
3 things that absolutely digust me now: 1) The time I tried mixing 2 tablespoons of honey into cottage cheese. That much honey was just really gross. 2) When I tried making cornmeal porridge (which is usually delicious, at least when my grandma makes it), and I used way too much water and sweetener. Nasty, and I can't believe I actually ate it. 3) Artificially sweetened light jam sandwiches. what the fizzle.

In China, I got some tomato juice. I thought it was going to be salty, like V8, but it wasn't. It was sweetened, and sweet tomato juice was so revolting to me that I nearly gagged. Ick.

My flatmate's ex once cooked bolognese, and did a veg version for me, which was very kind of her. The recipe she was using specified cloves, and as she didn't have any she substituted oil of cloves (like you get at the chemist). It was absolutely inedible - I couldn't even pretend to eat it just to be polite. Though judging from the reaction of my flatmate, the meat version was even worse.

I had one of those V8 fusion drinks that has fruit in it....it just tasted like super sweet tomato juice, it was pretty gross. I couldn't even finish it.

I was at a semi-fancy restaurant and ordered an artisanal cheese plate. It was mostly really strong, stinky cheeses and veiny, moldy cheeses. I could barely eat any of it, and I ended up with this stinky moldy cheese smell stuck in my nose for an entire day afterward. Ick!

one year on my birthday we went to a super vegan friendly Japanese restaurant. The mother/daughter team that ran it were SO sweet, and gave us all sorts of freebies for my bday. One of them was this...agar agar and corn clear block of...mass. I don't know how else to describe it. Like, really hard clear jello with corn in it, it was really sweet and the texture was nasty. I forced myself to eat the whole thing because they were so nice, and I nearly vomited a few times.

My husband and I tried a recipe for a quick no-rise pizza crust. It was both airy and dense . . . like play-doh that sat out for too long and was hard and crusty on the outside and wet and spongy on the inside. I usually try to eat everything I make -- this had to be thrown out.
Also, coconut water. Tasted like vomit to me. My mom gave me a taste while I was driving and I'm lucky I didn't swerve off the road.

Durian. It was the meat of a frozen whole durian that I got at the local asian market, so it was probably bad before I even tried it, but not only did it taste awful, it looked awful, smelled awful, and left me burping awfulness for hours.

When I was 6 or 7, my uncle who must have been about 14 at the time, dumped way too much salt on my food. Then, he told me I had to eat it, or I'd get in trouble with his mom--my grandmother. So, I choked down an entire plate of crunchy salty food. I think that's what led to my extremely strong gag reflex. After that, if I was forced to eat something I didn't like, it ended up on the carpet.
Also: Cold, canned pickled beets and raw onions Clam strips Milk. I hated milk, even chocolate milk. Biting into a colorful candy, thinking it's fruit-filled and getting a mouthful of black licorice. What is wrong with people?!
I guess one of the benefits of being vegan is that I always read ingredients, so I know if I'm going to get a mouthful of black death.

That one time I ran out of sugar and put maple syrup in my mint/chamomile tea. But I gagged it all down because I can't bear to throw away tea.

The worst vegan thing I've ever tried is kasha. I wanted to like it, but it was so godawful...I've heard it's an acquired taste, but there's no way I'm eating it again.
The most disgusting nonvegan foods I've tried are vienna sausages and liver mush.

The worst food I've ever eaten, by far, is stinky tofu. It smells like a sewer and tastes like putrid garbage. I actually gave it THREE chances at different restaurants in Taiwan because some of my dining companions insisted it was edible, but no. It's really not. A very close second was a vegetarian version of pig blood cake (also in Taiwan). Of all the gross fake meats I've eaten, it's the grossest. It's fake congealed blood with rice inside, so the texture was kind of like crunchy tempeh, and the flavor...I honestly can't describe it. Just never, ever eat it.

Redbull is just fine, so long as you add alcohol to it first.
The worst thing I ever put in my mouth was a chip that was COVERED in ancho spice. I thought for days afterward that there was something rancid on the chip.

Another vote for coconut water (although I had it in a smoothie, and it was OK) and another vote for red bull.
Also, a couple of weeks back I tried to make my own sunflower seed butter. I put water, kosher salt, and sunflower seeds in the food processor. It didn't work, and while I thought I just put a little shake of salt in, it was like tasting a salt lick.

Pregan: SOS (Babysitter served it to us everyday while her family ate bacon, eggs, and toast. When I complained, I got jelly sandwiches...everyday.) raw oysters...even thinking about it makes me gag. chitlins pig's feet
Vegan: some store bought seitan about 10 years ago tasted like canned dog food smells Gardein Tuscan breasts, bbq shreds, and herb dijon chicken I once ate the soggiest sweet potato fries that tasted of old oil while hungover...and promptly vomited in front of the restaurant. Loma Linda seitan out of a can. I was sick for about 10 days after and will never do that again. Cheddar Teese was so bad I had to throw it away, which I never do.

People used to buy me Jägerbombs all the time, and I would just drink the Jäger and take the Redbull back to the bar. When I was volunteering in the Philippines, one of the communities we stayed with pooled their money to buy balut to welcome us. Needless to say, I didn't partake, but a friend did and she's been mentally scarred ever since.

The two that come to mind are not vegan.
Foie gras pate. I didn't know how it was made, so don't hate! I don't know how that shiitake is supposed to be food. It's awful. Like vomit.
Strawberry tuna salad sammich. A much younger, much more stoned Nick thought this would be a good idea. So with the aid of a much younger, more stoned Paul we got together and made "struna". Yep. My kitchen skills have come a long way.
OH, vegan item: this marinated do-fu (tofu I guess) stuff I got from the Asian market. It tasted how I imagine licking the bottom of the ball pit at Chuckee Cheese's might taste.
