I wanted to stay at the Chelsea one last time before it is ruined but I have a funny feeling I will spend all my time in the East village any way. Any recomendations for resturants or bars?

I'll be there the 30th and 31st.

Blossom, Cocoa V, and Blossom Du Jour are all on 9th avenue near 21st street. there's also a Chinese restaurant called Home on 8th (8th ave b/w 29th & 30th) - it's omni, but it has a separate vegetarian menu that looks pretty good.

Also Terri's is on 23rd.

'snice! i guess it's more on the chelsea border, but still awesome. you could take 'snice sandwiches and eat them at highline park. i just went to that park for the first time and it was super cool

Everytime I see the limelight by the trader joes I get bummed out that it's a stupid mall.
