April 5th is my Veganniversary and I want to bring something to work to celebrate (I work in a physiotherapy clinic). Ideally the dish would be warm, but this isn't going to happen since I have to leave the house at 6:45 in the morning, though I guess I could microwave it in our tiny work microwave. So, what should I bring? The people I work with think most vegan food is kinda gross and bland and really enjoy McDonald's. Help me win them over!

Baked goods are always nice and their temp doesn't matter. Make really extravagant muffins.

I second the baked goods. Or you could try a chili or sloppy joes, something you can keep in a crockpot?

Congrats on the Veganiversary!
So you're bringing in food for your co-workers? As mentioned, sloppy joes or chili in a slow cooker would be great. Or you could bring in a batch of the VWaV Mango Summer Rolls.

Cupcakes and Cookies!
Unless you're looking for food, maybe a soup or stew in the slow cooker? You could plug it in and people could enjoy it warm all day! Make some cornbread muffins or rolls to serve with it.

Yes, baked goods! The chocolate peanut butter pillows from VCTOYCJ are outstanding.

The crockpot idea is great, but I take the bus to work and it would be a bit much since my commute is over an hour. I might just do baked goods. I wish it was warmer here so I could do a cold main dish but that sucks in March in Vancouver. I've been looking for a reason to do PB pillows again, so this might be it!
Thanks guys! I want to do something special for myself too and I'm not sure what that is yet...

Raspberry Blackout Cake with Chocolate Ganache-y Icing from VWAV
I took it to a work do today & everyone LOVED it. Plus I LOVE it too & I don't even really like chocolate cake. It's so delicious.

If you really want to go savory, do Isa's Classic Broccoli Quiche. It is amazing at room temperature and really impresses omni's with it's richness. Congrats on your vegaversary!

Congrats, Almira! I heard rave reviews about the bread you made for the bake sale...maybe that?

I try not to put too much effort into making/bringing food for other people when I'm iffy about whether or not they'll like it. I would probably make some sort of easy cookies or muffins. I would use a tried and true recipe rather than try something new - that way I can be sure it'll turn out, and it's also less work.
