I like pigeon, plough, and the warrior poses (I and II)... but I'm not much of a yoga person. I usually do these poses as stretches or core strength moves in my power pilates class.
Down dog hurts my shoulders after a while.

Favorites: cat, tree, happy baby, pigeon
Least favorite: plank, I never got past basic yoga (I need to go back to classes!), but I think I would have major problems with hand or head stands.

I'm trying to learn forearm stand. Anyone any good at that? I haven't been able to do it without my feet banging the wall and resting there.
My favorites: crescent and prayer twist (good crack in the back), pigeon, warrior 2 Dreads: the dastardly half-moon, and utkatasana the chair pose

Plough and shoulder stand are not my friends; something about being on my shoulders like that makes my ears go funny in a way that feels like a nerve is being pinched, so I just fast forward there.
Other than that, I really like most poses I've had experience with. My balance is fairly decent so I don't mind balance poses and I really feel stronger after doing one legged ones (no matter how much I fall down!)

I like most poses, but I have a lot of problems with balance, and I cant do any long poses where there is pressure on my wrists (thanks injuries!) so down dog is not something that works for me.

I love triangle pose, half-moon, downward dog, and all of the warrior poses. I hate headstand because I'm 10% torso, 90% limbs, and am afraid I am going to break something. Also plank around the end of class, and chaturanga. Especially chaturanga.

Me, super-yoga-expert ... just kidding, had two yoga lessons but I am bold enough to pipe in here:
I like Downward Facing Dog Child's Pose Half Lard of the Fishes
I dislike face asanas ( rolling your eyes, tongue out, etc)
I really struggle with sun salutation

I like: most back bends, shoulder stand, half moon, triangle, pigeon, and of course, the restorative poses. I dislike: utkatasana/chair pose, crow pose, boat pose, and lunges when they're held for an extended period of time,

I love downward dog!
Also Dancers pose, the wheel any balances really, twists & forward bends are good too. It took me A LONG time to be able to do headstands (Mr Iyengar suggests trying in a corner of the room to start with & I found that helpful) so I like them because although they are still a challenge they make me see life from a different perspective!
I love sun salutations too...

I don't like...I think it's the half moon poses. My right hip can't take the weight distributed that way, I find. My left hip is fine though. I figure it has something to do with my natural body aligment being slightly askew and there's nothing to change it.
I also tend not to like the locust ones where your legs are in the air (the bow is all right because the arms are helping support). anyway, as they say, do the ones you don't like so you'll get better and they do become easier--except the half moon ones where I have a valid complaint because they seriously bother my hip on one side--like beyond mild discomfort to pain and pinched nerve feelings which I take as a sign to back off.

Ever since my surgery, I hatehatehate dolphin and any pose like it. My shoulder just doesn't want to move that way anymore. It makes my scapula wing out, which gets painful after a while. And stupid me forgets to mention that I can't do it to the instructor before class. Tonight, we spent about half the class working on dolphin and forearm stand. The whole time I tried to look like I was doing something without actually doing it. I WILL ask about modifications/alternate poses to work on next time I go.

I love: triangle, tree, plough, pigeon, standing forward bend, wheal, and camel amongst others. I get quickly board in twists even though I know they are good for me. I don't have good balance in lunges and find them awkward. I don't enjoy any of the warrior poses.

I've noticed that my favorites are generally the ones I'm good at, and my least favorites are the ones I'm bad at :) I also do mostly bikram yoga so the poses might be slightly different than in vinyasa, as the instructor says, the ones you hate are the ones your body needs the most
- always loved triangle until I had to do the bikram version, now I hate it because my hip doesn't go the way it's supposed to - love/hate relationship with camel, some days it feels great on my back, some days I just feel like I'm going to puke - love/hate relationship with rabbit (bikram), some days it feels good, some days don't feel like I'm doing it correctly - always hated downward dog due to weak wrists and tight achilles, love that it isn't included in the bikram series, although now that I'm getting more flexible I'm getting better at it - hate half moon: looks like it should be easy, but if I stick to true form I barely move sideways - love bow pose both standing and on the ground - mainly because I'm good at it - hate standing head to knee (bikram) due to tight achilles - starting to love toe stand because I'm getting better at it - love child's pose, actually spent most of my childhood sleeping in that position (and occasionally wake up that way)

Lately I cannot do triangle on my right side - my knee popped during a session and since then I lost confidence in myself doing the pose. Also hero's pose has been murder on my calves...
I am really having major love for half boat pose right now!

I love triangle, and basically anything with twisting, and I enjoy balancing poses like tree and eagle. I'm having fun working on crow...
But i LOATHE Camel. It makes me feel like i'm going to throw up, but i can't figure out why...actually, anything where you're on your knees but keep your toes curled under makes me cringe.
