I know! I had assumed I had lost cheese and onion crisps forever. I need to do a quick check before I buy some though because it seems to good to be true!

Co-op onion rings, which are currently BOGOF. I had an onion ring tortilla today, which is as authentic as a merkin, but tastes like sexy.

We got killer haggis oatcakes on Arran that were crazy good - absolutely sure they were vegan (at least at the time). Found 'em just now on what I assume is the manufacturer site: http://www.thistleproducts.co.uk/shop/s ... is-flavour

Wow. It didn't look like that before. Whoops! Here: ETA: Just in case that doesn't show up either, it's a vegan dark chocolate with praline (that you can get in Waitrose) called Isis Pralinoir.

Oh my. That will be mine, oh yes. And it's just reminded me of the accidentally vegan praline thingies from Tesco... ack, I've forgotten what they're called -something like Ghiarandelli...

Ghirardelli? they're one of the better quality mass-market American chocolate companies. i've never seen them in the UK. and holy cow that praline chocolate looks delicious.

That chocolate looks like it'd be like my favourite chocolate ever. That'd make me pretty damn happy because you can't buy the Nirwana Noir here. I think I need to go to Waitrose tomorrow.

Ha!
The wholewheat hot cross buns at Tesco appear to be vegan. I haven't actually eaten one though! Just want to say 'buns'

There were hot cross buns in the Co-op with the ingredients on the label and as far as I remember they were vegan. I didn't get any though.

Sainsburys sell slightly more expensive gianduotti (comes in a box with gold wrappers not silver) which I think is slightly nicer than the tesco one.
Thanks for the praline tip off - will check next time I'm in waitrose :)

Thanks for the praline tip off - will check next time I'm in waitrose :) You have NO IDEA how happy I am that these are vegan. I'm half Italian, and my Italian relatives would always send them to us or bring them over when they visited. I saw that they now sell them in Sainsburys and lamented that I couldn't eat them. But, holy shiitake. I'm off to get fat now! Or maybe just do a little dance...

They're not on Sainsbury's publiched vegan suitable list, but when I last bought them they were either labelled vegan or didn't have anything in them questionable.
I do suggest you check though before eating 10 boxes :)

Ghost Lips wrote: Bought 4 bars of this at the weekend. I was surprised it was so cheap (£1.39 each). It's less impressive than I hoped thou :(. I assumed it'd be a chocolate shell with praline inside, but instead it's basically soft chocolate with a hint of hazelnut and rice crispies. It's like those "sweet william" rice crispie bars that Morrisons and Sainsburys used to sell, but softer. It's so soft that it tastes half melted at room temperature - it has to be kept in the fridge. I'll eat the bars I bought, but probably won't buy again.

Kingsmill hot cross buns are vegan.
And so are Spar ginger nuts - so, much, love!
