I want to know! I love the costume aspect of Halloween, but I always feel like the weirdo mommy when I dress up, too.
This is my first poll on the new boards, so do forgive me if I fail at it completely.

A friend of mine who has kids wears her regular clothes on Halloween. She'll ask people, "So how do you like my costume?" and when they give her the confused look, she says, "I'm a dog dressed up as a human!"
She says this generally causes people to take their candy and back away slowly.

I have for the past few years. Shae thinks it's hilarious. Still deciding what I should be this year!

If I had a party to go to (who am I kidding?), I would, but for just trick or treating, no.

I haven't taken any kids trick or treating yet, but I plan on dressing up to give out treats. I prob will dress up when Kai is old enough to go. I've marched in the village Halloween parade almost every year for the past decade, but won't be now, so I've got to do something!

Yes! I think it's fun to dress up with Julian. He's not at an age where he's embarrassed of me yet, so I'm taking advantage of it. I usually dress up the dog and take her with us, too. I love Halloween.

I had planned to this year but didn't get to it. Originally Livi wanted to be Daphne from Scooby Doo in which case I was going to be Velma but then she decided to be a black cat and trick or treating is tonight.
Next year we have big plans! We're going with some mutual friends - she and her 2 friends (sisters) are going to be the Powerpuff Girls and their mom and I (we're buddies), well she's going to be the Professor and I'm going to be Mojo Jojo. That's the plan right now anyway.

I'm hoping to dress up this year... I dressed up almost every year before the Emperor was born, so it's just a natural continuation. Other people may think I'm weird, but as long as my kid thinks it's funny and cool, we'll do it!

My friend is coming by tonight with her son who's almost three. He wanted to be Batman, so Mommy (who is like 5' 2" and the absolute picture of sweetness) is being the Joker and Daddy (who is like 6' 3", probably pushing 300 lbs and totally gruff and grumpy) is being Robin. I can't wait to see the whole tableau.
