I hope someone vegan buys it! It was rarely my first choice of where to eat in the LES, but they had some stuff I liked.

A friend of mine used to work at TienGarden before she went on her Western tour a few months ago.
For those who haven't eaten there yet, she recommends any dish with peanut curry sauce or organic curried vegetables. Among the appetizers, she recommends summer rolls and burdock dumplings.

A CERTAIN PROMINENT VEGAN COOKBOOK AUTHOR really hyped up some peanutty cold noodles with seitan and vegetables from tien garden in a certain breakthrough cookbook with a great recipe for a similar dish,so i decided to go there and try it in june and i was not impressed.at all.actually really grossed out.the noodles were overcooked, and the sauce was really pasty and chunky, and the broccoli wasn't steamed,it was so weird.AND sara(who used to be on here as 'sarchan')went there her last day living here in july and she couldn't believe how bad it was either.anyways,i guess i had really high expectations of it,and i won't miss it.

I guess if I want any steamed sesame dumplings for dessert I'd better get them now, huh? Sad. 16 years is a long run at it though.

They've changed a lot over the years. I haven't been there in ages, but I've been told my favorite things are no longer on the menu :(

I went last night just cause. It wasn't good. I had been there once before and felt really sick and like I was going to puke for hours and hours after.. Last night wasn't much better. Also they didn't have rice? So. I don't know. I feel bad anyway though cause it seems like the guy that owns it is pretty nice
