Soooo... if you were a vegan author and you wanted to do a book signing in early January, where would you do it? Ideally, the option to sell books would be there, to recoup travel costs.. just checking, in case some vegan author wants to do a signing there or something.

I would say maybe Sidecar (excuse me, Vegan Whatever-They-Changed-It-To). It's kind of cramped inside though. What sort of places are you doing your other signings at?

Sidecar would be your best bet, I think. They host bake sale so a book signing should be ok.
When Sarah Kramer was in town she did her signing at the Madison Co-op.
The Chocolate Shoebox hosted an art showing so they have the capacity to do a signing but it's located in Greenwood.

Cafes mainly. I am selling the books myself, so places that sell books may not want me there since they don't get book revenue.

They do sell books at Sidecar, but I'd still ask them. It would bring a lot of traffic to the store, so I could see them maybe agreeing to it.

Chaco Canyon's roomy but sort of... granola. Maybe worth checking out, though.

Doh is the owner of Sidecar and co-owner (along with the people of Pizza Pi) of Wayward Cafe which is across the street from Sidecar so like what Pinko said, I'd still ask them.

Seriously, it seems like a great place to have it, and despite living right up the street AND loving shoes AND loving chocolate, I have not been yet.

Haha, yeah! The issue is I have to be able to get there too! I will be flying in and carless.
