I've only ever taken the bus into nyc, but this weekend the husband and I are driving down to see Rush at Madison Square Garden. Am I crazy to think we'll be able to find a place to park our car for the whole day?

You'll probably be able to find a spot in a lot, but that can be really expensive, so try finding coupons or deals online before you go.

yeah, a lot is the way to go. i'm not sure how you're going in, but i almost always take the lincoln tunnel and park in the park and lock right outside on 42nd. you can easily walk to msg from there!

you can also leave your car in New Haven and take the metro-north train, it's a decent way to do it cheap and hassle-free.

Normally I'd be all about public transport, but we're leaving right after to drive back to MA so the mister can be at work for 7, so we're hoping to make a quick get away. It turns out we're staying in Brooklyn Saturday night, so I'm guessing we'll do some super expensive event parking at a lot since we won't have to park there all day.
