Yeah, you'd need some kind of travel sausage accessory - maybe a sausage cosy, or a sausage condom, to stop your screen smearing up.

THIS IS VERY BIG NEWS. I've been waiting for UK-faux-chicken-technology to advance for a WHILE now. Where did you see 'em? H&B?

They have the chick'n at Real Foods. I might bring some through for you next time I'm in Glasgow if you want (but I'm not sure when that'll be). I suppose you might be able to order them as well, but I don't know if Real Foods deliver refrigerated stuff.

The Southern fried chicken pieces are basically their regular chicken pieces with a coating. I haven't tried them, but I think Jojo has?

I have indeed, we had them with corn on the cob, smokey collard greens, mashed potato & gravy. They made a pretty good lazy southern style dinner but we both agreed making that with seitan woulda been even better. We tried the burgers too and definitely preferred the pieces but we can't remember why!

How many of you guys are doing MoFo this year? I'm considering doing a UK only giveaway but I'm not sure how many entrants I'd get!

I'm doing MoFo and have considered a giveaway myself, but if I do it then it'll probably be something I can order from amazon or book depository and have shipped just to save international BS.

You could always do a UK giveaway and try to get people like Heather Mills to tweet it!

So why don't you just bake some cookies and make Nick drive them to me?

As in right now?

I suggest you leave cookies in Edinburgh for me at a convenient drop-off point. And tell no-one.

I ended up with an overpriced jacket potato & beans in Wetherspoons but this site has some more interesting options:

http://www.blackpool.vegangroup.co.uk/index.html

One thing I would stay is stay the hell away from the Wildlife Hotel (if it still exists). Yes it's all vegan but it's appalling - walked in with the wife & kiddies, took one look, walked straight back out, yuk.

Wait - jojo's doing a cookie delivery service now? Is it like a Riverford box scheme? Which day(s) are you in the South West?
