Yay Indian food! I'm going to ride my bike there. It'll be a nice 8 mile bike ride. What time will the lunch be?

poo! I was busy leading a yoga retreat (which was actually really awesome and had all vegan food), but I missed out! I'll try to make the next one. I like my South Bay pals!

Does anyone want to do a field trip to the East Bay in May? I'd love to try Souley Vegan and there is a Caribbean market I'd like to check out as well. I think there was a recent meetup at Souley but it was on a weekday :(

Also, our awesome pastry chef Dina was going to give us all a pastry making lesson. We need to make that happen. :)

I would of course love to do some pastry lessons. What do we want to learn? Pain au chocolat? Danish? Other delicious things?

I work on the weekends from 3:30-midnight, so it'd have to be early-ish. Also, I'm not sure if I can take part in the field trip unless it's early-ish. I have Mondays and Tuesdays off right now, if anyone wants to have a pastry shindig or lunch or coffee or something exciting like that.

Yay! I definitely want to do pastry lessons! I pretty much work 9 am-11 pm weekdays but if I plan ahead I can get time off whenever.

Dina - since you work weekends do you think you'll be able to make it to Souley?

I guess we should decide on the 14th or 28th. I'm more inclined towards the 28th since it gives us time to coordinate with SF/Oakland PPKers. If anyone wants to carpool, let me know!

I also prefer the 28th for Souley and carpooling would be great - I'd rather contribute gas money than drive myself.

I work weekdays, but perhaps a Monday or Tuesday evening could work out for pastry lessons if we plan ahead?

I could only do the Souley Vegan trip if it was early .... probably it wouldn't be so I'll have to pass.
