Large parts of season one are simply unwatchable, to the extent that we suspect that they didn't bother to actually put all of the episodes on the DVD set, and that when selected, the menu screen simply says "You want to watch the episode about the racist truck? Really?"

I like season one, but that racist truck episode really was terrible.

Frustrated by all the pudding-blood, Sam goes crazy and takes it out on his tragically short brother, who seriously had enough crepe to deal with without some tall guy trying to strangle him, come on.

The family car, a 67 Chevy Impala, is the coolest thing on the show by a factor of four million. It survives despite being possessed by a ghost, stolen several times, crashed twice, and also beaten up by Dean in a fit of rage, after which the car claimed that she'd just driven into a wall, and that Dean just gets angry sometimes.

These two just really made me laugh. Poor tiny-by-comparison Dean. It's not his fault his brother is descended from Sasquatch.

The five stages of watching Route 666:

1.what the fizzle!?
Image

2.I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA!!!
Image

3. Um ... I can't even sustain the energy to complain about this any more. But you writers are forking idiots.
Image

4. I ... I just ... I dunno how I watched that.
Image

5. I must rewatch all of S4 to reassure myself that this is a good show. Oh, hey! It's Cas! Yay, Cas!

I'm feeling a mini-marathon coming on tomorrow night while I finish my costume. The theme will be The Most Hilarious Episodes and will include:

Mystery Spot
Monster Movie
The Monster at the End of This Book
Changing Channels
The Real Ghostbusters

A Very Supernatural Christmas would be included but it only seems appropriate to save that one for later.

Re: the gifs, spam away! The outtakes are always amazing.

I approve of the lineup. "Wishful Thinking" (I might have the title wrong...) would be a worthy addition.

My sister's visiting and doesn't know the show. I'll force her to watch the new episode, and then I'll be nice and put on some horror movies. I think she might be willing to get hooked on SPN, though. I told her the WWBD line from "Hell House" and she thought it was the best thing she ever heard.

Wishful Thinking would be a good addition, I forgot about that one.

I really, really want to get someone hooked on Supernatural. Only one of my real life friends watches it and he's a casual viewer. MUST INFECT.

I'm trying to lure suzukibeane in with promises of very attractive menfolk. I think it will work, it's just a matter of time.

These gifs are amazing. KarynMC, I hearts you big time.
Okay, as soon as I finish a few drawings for school, 'tis back into season 2 I dive! I've also casually watched episodes from the other seasons with my boyfriend, including the new season. Whoa my god.

I do what I can to make the world a better, sexier place. I'm spreading the sexy around. I didn't know I'd make her CRAZY though . . . spoiler junkie.

You REALLY should have ... granted, most of the shows I geek out over have been off the air for awhile, so there aren't any spoilers to go crazy with. :-)

JP's delivery on that line is amazing.

I also love "Should I honk?"
