I do yoga at home, a mixture from workshops, books and DVDs.
I really love seated butterfly, childs, chest expander, cat and the warrior poses.
I really don't like downward dog... mostly because I'm not very flexible and I can't pull it off well yet, haha.

I've been doing Bikram for about a year, and my favorite has mostly been the backward bends, because they seem a little more natural to me, while the forward bends are tough (I have a naturally exaggerated curvature of my lumbar spine area.. makes camel easy but rabbit a killer!). Ever since I started, I've hated triangle... until this month. It's hard to keep my knees locked and everything low.. my hips flexors are so tight! It's my nemesis. Suddenly I love it. It's hard. I've been working hard on it. It's still hard, but now in a different awesome way. Triangle. Yessssss.

like: pigeon (all variations), tree, little boat, dead bug, plough, baby bear
dislike: crane (i just canNOT balance all my weight on my arms)
yeah, i really just hate crane. i suck at anything that involves stretching my quads and hamstrings, but they still feel good, even though i can't bend very far into them.
man, i was going to skip yoga tonight because it's raining so hard, but this has inspired me to go anyway. thanks!

Oh, I think chair is my absolute favorite...Does this make me some sort of masochist?! Other faves, halfmoon, anything twisty, down dog, cat/cow...
I think the only thing I really hate are arm balances, and I am pretty sure that I will never successfully do a handstand.

Favorite: Eagle pose. It's so funny and twisty.
Least Fave: any arm balancing poses, plank kills me because I have a weak core and upper body
Most wanted pose: Wheel. I can't do it on my own without assistance but I just inversions and it just looks so cool.

i'm glad i went last night, we did pigeon and i also learned some crazy quad stretch that's some sort of modified, balancing lunge (she didn't say the name). my quads have been really killing me lately, so...yay!

We just moved into a house, so now I have a whole basement to practice in. I love yoga even more now that I can do it every day.
I love twisting poses, warrior 2, and crescent lunge
I hate dancer, balancing stick, and hands to feet

Love any of the seated spinal twists, the warriors, and happy baby.
Downward dog is my nemesis.

I've never been to a real yoga class, but looking through all the poses on Yoga Journal, I'm realizing that most of my stretches from dance, circus, and stuff I've come up with on my own are actually yoga poses.
So, um, from what I'm seeing, I like pigeon, shoulder stand, plow, marichi's pose, upward facing two-foot staff pose (which is, uh, quite the name), and wheel. I like stuff that bends and twists my spine, I guess?
I don't know what I don't like... maybe I should take an actual yoga class at some point.

like: chair pose (to feel the burn baby), triangle, warrier I & II, spinal twists
dislike: downward dog - SO glad to see that other people also dislike. Whenever I'm in a class and they call it a 'resting pose' I think 'like fork it is'. Also crane. I just cannot do it. All of my yoga buddies seem to be able to do it. Also when I showed my non yoga hubby 'this really hard pose' he was like 'oh so it's supposed to be like this' and does it like it was nothing.

I am NOT a fan of camel but I LOVE pigeon or any hippy-type poses. I have tight hip flexors and hips from running and they feel soo good! I also got into Bird of Paradise this week too. I'm not great at it yet, but I'm getting there.
