Hello PPK! I'm new (-ish, I posted a very little bit on the old boards, years ago). This is a completely random assortment of things, some pretty old, but I'm at work and bored so I'm pulling them from my flickr. Onward!

Cinnamon rolls with cream cheese icing- the recipe is from an upcoming cookbook (Cook, Eat, Thrive) and they are so, so amazing. There's sweet potato puree in the dough, and I'm not sure what that does but it works.
Image

Bacon cheeseburger- (tempeh bacon and... rice cheese? I can't remember. I really could have tried to make it look better though).
Image

Pancakes (VwaV recipe) with raspberries, confectioners' sugar, and maple syrup.
Image

Buffalo tempeh wings from Don't Eat Off the Sidewalk. So good! And a Sam Smith oatmeal stout.
Image

Stromboli! This could look better, but it was really good. Pepperoni, some other kind of vegan meat, and FYH of some kind.
Image

Mecca Azteca salad from the Native Foods book. One of my all-time favorite meals. Mixed greens, quinoa, tomato, cucumber, jicama, red onion, avocado, roasted pumpkin seeds, dates, mango, and cayenne, with a creamy mango-lime dressing.
Image

The agave-sweetened cupcakes from VCTOTW, with a lemon-confectioner's sugar icing (couldn't sift; too excited).
Image

And finally, pumpkin scones! These are crazy delicious and so easy to make. The recipe is also from Cook, Eat, Thrive, but Joy posted it on her blog here.

Ha, thanks. It's just that the vegan cheeses of yore (does 2-3 years ago count as yore?) either didn't melt or did so in kind of a clumpy fashion. Luckily I think they're much better now. Except that rice cheese, which is most definitely worse.

Ditto, but I'm fine with the stalkerish way if the food tastes as good as it looks!
