Okay, So what's up with this?
A few months back Amazon.com had 'Vegan Desserts' by Isa due out in fall, 2011. This was described as a low-fat dessert book, with a very nice cover I might add. I was thinking 'Appetite for Reduction 2.0'. Now there's no mention of it on the US Amazon.com, though the UK one still has the listing. Is this book still in the works?

Isa and Terry are working on a pie book right now. That may be what the listing is talking about.

Yeah, the listing is jacked. As far as I know there's no low-fat dessert book in the works, just the pie book. I'm sad because I thought this thread was going to be about Hannah Kaminsky's newest book.

The pie book is now listed on Amazon instead. Did this listing have the purple cover? Because that was just the other/maybe British (I don't remember) AFR cover.

Well let's make it about Hanna's book. I know it's not out yet but is there anyone here who did testing for it?

Slightly disappointing news to announce... Nothing to get hot and bothered about, but it looks like the release date is being pushed back slightly, to around May 11 - 20. Different places have it listed differently, and communication directly from the source is less than stellar, so I don't have a very clear picture of what's going on. All I know is that there's been a printing delay, the books should be arriving at HQ today (I still haven't seen an actual copy of the book myself) and hopefully all should be well. It may just take online sellers like Amazon to officially get it in stock. So hang tight, and thanks for waiting!

Wow, that is a fantastic ToC. I WANT IT ALL.
Really I'm amazed at the library of great vegan dessert titles that's come out in the last few years/are due out in the recent future. I think at some point I may just purge my library of the books I don't like as much, because there's just no reason to keep them around anymore.

Are the recipes arranged by season in the actual book? If so, that's cool. I usually only bake (outside of basic cookies/brownies) for holidays, that would make it easier to pick out a dessert that would co-ordinate.

I originally had envisioned the seasonal aspect as being the big selling point here, and the original title I had was "Sweet Vegan Seasons," but it just didn't fly with my publisher. Thanks for being so patient, everyone!

Stupid publishers! That's a great name. Regardless, I think your seasonal baking book concept is really unique. Looking forward to seeing it!
