The shop my friends work at is having an awesome benefit on May 22, donate $30, get a free tattoo or piercing. Check out the designs and more info on the facebook event or www.tattoojunkies.com!

OOooOOOoo I have been considering getting a star on the back of each knee or calves. Or maybe I need a new piercing! Monroe, septum or the other side of my lip, I cant decide! Thanks for posting this!

I made an appointment a few days ago with Phil for the event! If we're there at the same time, does anyone want to grab a smoothie or something afterward?

I'm torn between one of the floral motifs and one of the leaves. I'll make a game time decision.

ARGH! I never figured out what I wanted so I never got to see Stina. But I have it almost figured out, so maybe by the time I move back . . .

I'll spread the word :)

I think I settled on a bird, but James said they might be putting up new designs, so I don't know!

I'm kind of hoping there are some new ones available because I'm not totally in love with anything, but I do like the three flowers together on the page with the crane and the turtle because it makes me think of my little family unit.

That's cute! I'm thinking the sparrow kinda bird, but colored as a red winged blackbird, I've wanted a tattoo of one of them for a little while.

I love that idea, at one point I was thinking Massachusetts state bird and flower, but our flower just isn't that nice looking.

Yay! Stina and her husband James opened their own shop! It's called Grim North and it's in downtown Portsmouth.

That's kind of an amusing fundraiser, considering that tattoos in Japan are pretty much only seen on yakuza, and even Westerners aren't allowed in public baths or some other public spaces if they sport visible tattoos. (And in the public baths, all your tattoos are gonna be visible.)
