When will this terrible interaction between content and user going to end? OBJECTS ARE SACRED and must be left solid, tangible, and whole. Monolithic. Respect the object. No blogs. No tweets. No forums. No quotes. No sharing. Interaction is for sport and loveplay. The individual is nothing. The individual deserves no personalized information. The individual deserves no right to create or share information. Ruthless, clamoring competition and narrow ports ensure quality and reverence. The cultural milieu is flooded and the waters are murky. THE PLUG MUST BE PULLED. THE PLUG MUST BE PULLED.

Content must trickle down, not rise from the gutters. Curb the proletariat! The never-ending cascade of unfiltered information brews a tepid stew of chaos and inferior thought. Tastle not. Stir not. Set down your ladles, Children.

I (mostly) disagree.

Yeah there's a lot of shiitake content out there, but that's bound to happen when anyone can be an author. Still, it puts power in the hands of the creators and cuts out the middle men.

...or I missed the point entirely.

The day will come when all screens will broadcast The One Authorized Message. No discourse. No debate. No dissent. And all shall be One.

Put down your pens. Put down your pens. Let your inkwells run dry and your quills turn to dust.

Also, Y'Golonac? I gotta say, if I had mouths in the palms of my hands, I'd never leave the house.
