Mmmm, Riverford...
I'm at my parents' house in Bristol this week and have been enjoying the bounty of their Riverford veg box! I think I've eaten more this week than the last two weeks put together.
PS: if anyone is around in Bristol tonight - I'll be drinking at the Hatchett from 8, then maybe moving on to The Crown. Come and say hello!

I order from Riverford from time to time and I like the service, but I wish you could pick and chose stuff in the set boxes like with Abel and Cole. FYI for anyone considering Abel and Cole though- they started using wool as a coolant instead of the old styrofoam boxes with cold packs, so don't order cold stuff from them if the wool's an issue.

Yet another bloody 'vegetarian' on Come Dine With Me who eats fish at other people's houses. Gah!
Oh god, they're all such knobs.

That technology was unheard of when I bought my phone. If anyone wants to give me an iPhone or something, I'll happily attempt this experiment.

Also, I have to say that I'm now the proud owner of 4 cans of pumpkin. It's finally gone on sale at Real Foods, only 7p more than last year. I might still check out Waitrose for the cheaper stuff (it was Waitrose that had it for £1 last year, right?), but at least I'm not paying £1.80 per can.

I'm gonna go to Waitrose on my way home tomorrow from my Saturday job. Or, as the security guy would have it, my 'pin money' job that I do for housekeeping whilst my husband is at home with the kids. Yes, really.

Waitrose did not have any canned pumpkin. And I almost stabbed everyone in Waitrose looking for it. Dagnammit!

Can someone please explain what travel sausages are. Are they just small sausages?

Oooh, I bought some of this on the way home from work to try because I knew I wouldn't be in the mood to clean my food processor and make hummus for work tomorrow. I really like the Sainsbury's spicy Moroccan one.
