So. At work today, we knew that we were expecting a very high profile call from a high ranking individual..And to NOT be on the other end of that phone call. So this co-worker is on the phone with whatever else non work related, and didn't get the memo! So the phone rings, and they ask if I'm going to answer it. I said "Nah, I think I'm good.." a few rings later Mr.No Memo, Already on his cellphone, picks up the work phone. Pure Comedy GOLD ensued. You could hear the guy yelling from across the building through that phone. I got a picture on my cellphone, here is his "OH shiitake" face. Needless to say, IT MADE MY DAY. I kinda want to know what the other person on the other phone heard and was thinking. Crazy. Picture too big, so here's a link

The best thing about my day was probably the Sexy Sadie cupcake I had for breakfast from Sweet Avenue. It all went downhill from there.

I got back in touch with a couple of good friends that I used to work with, and haven't talked to in over a year. They were excited to hear from me, and I was excited that they were excited! We might all go out for some vegan bar food soon and catch up, which sounds like one of the best things ever.

My husband has a job interview tomorrow. Is it bad luck to talk about it, or ask people to wish us luck? Still, this is good.

I got a little peddle machine. I am recovering from a foot injury and can't even do yoga from the pain. I have been PPKing and peddling for like an hour.
Very very happy.

I have a 2GB log file with 37 million lines of errors in it from a customer and I got to send it to someone else to interpret.
Today is a very good day.

I stopped into the eye doctor to make an appointment... and it just so happened to my eye doctor (one of three at the practice) had ONE free spot in the upcoming week or two, and it was five minutes after I walked in the door! I had my eye exam and ordered new frames and just got it all done. This was a great relief because my old frames broke this morning, as did my heart.

I'm already half way through the work day (it still feels like I only just arrived), and my office is permeated with the smell of the apple-walnut-maple muffins I made last night AND everyone in the office loved them :)

Had a lovely dinner with inceptisol, Mr InceptisoL, eight, Melisser, Mr. Melisser and Strummer and inceptipuppy! Everyone was incredibly nice and awesome. Plus I had me some vegan Bratwurst, garlic cream soup and pancakes filled with chocolate and soaking in vanilla sauce.

it's kind of a toss up. it's either that my two favorite little men are coming to have dinner with us and hang out, or that my guys managed to rescue a cat, unharmed from a lady's engine compartment this afternoon.
