I have $10 as well. How should we coordinate this?

So, BVS is participating in the WWVBS tomorrow. Anyone contributing to their bake sale?

And there's one at Angell! I will probably go there too. Because I like baked goods. Nom nom nom.

The Angell in JP? (Is that the only MSPCA called Angell? I get confused because I know more than one place is called MSPCA, I think...)

Yepper! At least, that's what came up when I mapped it. It's listed on the World Wide Vegan Bake Sale website.

When are you heading round? It's listed as 9a-5p Thursday through Saturday. I think I'm going to try to go over on Saturday as I work today and tomorrow until 5p. Plus it'll be great to get to know the lay of the land; I'm going to a volunteer orientation 5/7. I blame all you vegans for influencing me to like, do good things. Whatevs.

What's the status on our bake sale? Is it too late? Are the forms submitted? Do we have someone we trust to paypal the money to and that person can pay the fee? (Not that I don't trust you all, but I feel better that I've met some of you in real life. No offense to the others!!)

I don't want to be the one to put the nail in the coffin here but...maybe we can try again next year?? WWVBS is only once a year right?

At least we put in a good effort! I really didn't think it would be so difficult to sell some cupcakes though. At least we'll know what preparation to account for next time. So, good work team! :)

I'd really like to help out the sanctuary, so if we're all interested in doing a bake sale aside from the WWVBS I'm still in.

That's what I figured. I'm glad I got to meet some of you though! I visited the one at Angell, and I feel like that was a missed opporunity as well. The young lady running it basically did everything herself (minus a few of the baked goods). I put the PPK bug in her ear, so hopeful she comes to the forum and checks things out.

I sadly missed the Angell one... I had been really hoping to go get a tasty treat. Alas!

We should definitely organize for next year! I'm so envious of all the WWVBS pics in the food porn section!
