I know a girl who has "love this" tattooed on her inner lip. Similar vibe but more subtle.
My bezzie mate has "THRASH"

I'm always interrogating my grandma about her custard Dumpster inner lip tattoo.

I don't think it's sex-positive OR indicative of self-esteem issues. I just think it's really gross. Whatever makes her happy, I guess!
If I remember correctly, tattoos inside the mouth don't last long...thank goodness.

Why would her grandchildren be looking at her inner lip?
I don't really think it's any of the above. I'm going with stupid dare, drunken joke, etc.

I think it's probably one of those 'everyone will think I'm so clever and edgy!' things. So... for attention? Which I guess is a self-esteem thing.
My friend has 'I heart cats' tattooed on his lip. He's allergic to cats.

There is nothing positive about referring to yourself as a dumpster for baby batter. Nothing at all.

I thought it said "Gum Dumpster" at first, and I was trying to figure out what her Gums were dumping on her lip(like does she chew tobbaco?..) but then I got it..
Gross.

If it is real it requires maintenance. Inner lip tattoos fade super quick because of the acid/chemicals/moisture (and, ahem, other things) in the mouth. I had a friend who got one and his faded to nothing in a matter of months.
Hopefully this is on the way out by now. I voted gross.

Hopefully this is on the way out by now. I voted gross. My boyfriend has had "notorious" on his inner lip for about 8 years now. It's not going anywhere. Maybe he had a good tattoo artist? I hope this girl is joking because that is the worst choice for a tattoo I've seen in a while.

That's interesting.

I am much more freaked out by the idea of ANY tattoo on the inner lip than by what it actually says. I had no idea you could do that! Ow!!
