No, she's right. Everything on Facebook is fact.

Does she also think that I have a blood sister whose name is also Katie?

It's remarkable how much of my friends' business my mom asks me about. After all, they did post it. My theory is if you want further information - ask them.

Moms + Facebook = Always amusing.

Sometimes I think it would be nice if my mom had facebook so she could keep in touch with some relatives, but then I think of explaining every single detail and remind myself that only managing email can be a good thing.

My mom always posts way too many comments on my status updates, and some of them have nothing to do with the particular update. I think I posted something on baking and she felt the need to tell me my cousin got somebody pregnant and list the "baby mamas" and shiitake. She's weird.

Oh god, Brian's mom used to call me about my status updates. And when I first got a twitter account, I had it in the sidebar of my website and she would read it and call me about that stuff too, so I took it off my site.

thread for making me happy my mom can't figure out how to hide games and has therefore completely stopped using facebook.

I'm glad my Mum isn't on FB. It'll be when my kids are that I'll need to worry.

I'm glad my mom has never requested me on facebook. It creeps me out that she has albums titled 'Allegra' with pictures of me in there.. against my consent.

My mom talks to my old hs friends on fb more than I do. Which is kind of weird.

She also does that thing where she answers my status updates with random stuff that have nothing to do with it.

I made a status about the new boards and my mom thought it was about our fence.

My mom wanted to comment on a photo I had taken of the dogs, but commented on my entire album instead. So every time I added a new photo, her "Those are My BABIES!!!11! I love them!!!" would show up. I thought it was funny, but she was embarrassed and finally made me show her how to delete it.

My Mom doesn't know how to spell and posts about games a lot, which makes my sister make fun of her in the comments section and sets off a whole hurt feelings thing. My Mom also doesn't understand when I'm quoting lyrics and is always worried I'm about to off myself or something.

I ignored my mom when she friend requested me. Stone cold, I know. But I think she understands. I sent her the "Mom's on Facebook" SNL skit on Hulu and it made her laugh.

My mum has a habit of liking all the statuses that my friends post dirty comments on, so they all get emailed directly to her. She doesn't seem to mind it. She also asked me to show her how to block her own mother from her page.

my mom now uses FB chat to talk to me most of the time. and if I don't answer her chat, or show as offline, she'll message me to see if I'm on. and if I don't answer that, I get a phone call. odd.

she also likes to comment on statuses with unrelated things...apparently this is more common than I thought.

My mother has my login info so she logs in when she knows I'm at work. She's mainly looking at pictures of her grandkids and old friends from high school and from the show horse circuit.

My mom's page said "interested in women and men" for the longest time. For some reason I didn't catch it until it was brought to my attention by my boyfriend at the time. I told her that "interested in women and men" doesn't mean what she thinks it means, and in a panic, she accidentally deleted her entire page.

HAHAHA i love this.

my mom calls about my statuses too. it's actually incredibly annoying, but i don't know how to make it stop. a lot of my status updates are sarcastic too (which i can't help– its in my nature!) but she takes them seriously & freaks out.
