Oh esme, bill... i am thinking of you and sending lots of hugs. I'm not so good at time differences, but I guess it can't be long now and I hope you had a lovely day snuggling and watching the birds <3

thanks, guys.
if any day had to be your last day, he picked a pretty good one. it was warm and sunny and the birds were all out. and this evening is cool and clear and the moon looks pretty amazing.
i know he was ready.
it still sucks and hurts like hell, though.
seriously, thank you all. this is why the ppk is awesome.

horrible...im so sorry what your poor kitty had to go through. just know that he is in a better place now...free of pain. i recently lost a pet too..i know exactly how you're feeling..just try to stay positive. best wishes to you

Oh esme, I wish I could give you a big hug in person but here's a virtual hug ****hug****
I just had to put down my cat a little over a week ago. He was a cat that I got when I was 16 and then when I left home when I was 18 he ended up becoming my nephew's kitty. My cat was only 11, but similarly his health went down fast and sudden. It was his liver though, and he had stopped eating and was drinking tons of water and sleeping all day. He had lost about 5 lbs. Taking him to put him down was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. I got to spend some last few hours with him, but it was such a heartbreaking experience. I cried and cried and cried. I know the pain you're going through and you were such a good kitty mommy for doing the best you can for him and he's in in peace now. Take care esme!!!!! <3 So sorry for your loss.
