So, remember how I said I hadn't had a period in over three months? On day 90 of my freaky cycle I finally started. Just in time to coincide with the first herpes outbreak I've had in over four years. fork my life.

This has happened to me every cycle for about a year now. I just think it's strange how the bleeding will completely stop, but then come back after a couple days. I'm not concerned about it, just curious. Right here! I got my period last Friday and it's still lurking. I have two days heavy, then almost nothing, then spotting, then it comes back hardcore for a day or so, then spotty for another day. It's weird, you think you're done and then it's back. I wish it would jut go hardcore for 3-4 days and be done, but my period's a drama queen I guess.

My implant makes me start bleeding at random, with no warning, and that means all my sheets are ruined. My boyfriend likes to remind me that they're actually HIS sheets and seems to think I could just stop bleeding if I really wanted to.

Had occasion to take plan b last wk (just like three days after period ended, but we were being safe-after-the-fact, as safe-during-the-act did not turn out as we had planned.) and now it's like I have a whole NEW period, cramps and all.
Thanks, plan b, this is just what I wanted. I look forward to repeating this experience with a real period in a couple of weeks.

pastabake, I took Plan B once, and it made me cramp too... and bloat. I cursed my then boyfriend, but it wasn't his fault. I just liked to say it was.
Oh, and on the subject of real periods, I'm quite angry that mine arrived one whole week early. I was planning on NOT binging on chocolate and other sweets until next week, so I was totally understocked at home today. I had to physically go to the grocery store while craving sweets, cranky, bloaty, and periody just to purchase these chocolates and other yummies that I was hoping would be on sale AFTER Halloween...

Grr, mine came out of nowhere after only 20 days. A 20 forking day cycle? Not cool, ovaries. Not. Cool.

Thanks, plan b, this is just what I wanted. I look forward to repeating this experience with a real period in a couple of weeks. I had basically the same thing and was so miserable about it! (And I couldn't quite tell whether I was just miserable because it sucked or because the hormones were making me a little weepy.) FYI, my "real" period was 5 days late the month I took Plan B, which is apparently common, but freaked the heck out of me. So be prepared for that!

right on schedule. it's bad timing. it's my last week at my job, and i am a complete spaceshot, like i always am come high crimson tide. there's so much to wrap up, but i can't focus on ANYTHING. i'm also feeling pretty mean and am annoyed every time i think about having to do any more work for a company that doesn't want me. i just want to go home and eat french fries and stab pillows.

So I can't tell if I'm pms-ing or what. I am all broken out, inhaling food, and cramping. Seems so clear. But wait, there's more! Also, nausea at various times during the day. And since my last period I've had sex with 3 different guys (2 were drunken hook-ups), so while I am 99% sure that I am not pregnant, the nausea thing has me concerned. Because fork. I wouldn't even know who the other relevant party would be. Which is making me more stressed, which is probably forking with my cycle more. Cramps seriously suck though.

I was just about to go looking for this thread!
I got my period last night. Usually once or twice during each period I can't seem to put the diva cup in properly and it won't open up no matter how much I twist/push/pull it, and during those times I'll wear a tampon for a few hours and then try again. Well, that happened this morning so I went to the store to buy some tampons and all they had was PADS. God, I haven't worn one of those for years. And after today I hope I won't have to wear another one ever again. It made me feel dirty and gross and sicker than usual. Ugh. Stupid pad. Stupid period. bisque bisque bisque.

had to come home from school. immobilised. this pain is almost unbearable...and my abdomen feels really firm and i'm all apranoid imagining my diva cup suctioned me in the wrong way and omg i've got tea with cramp bark and a heating pad for now, but i've got to go back to school in 2 fuckng hours to write a midterm. it's bad enough i'm skipping class right now, i have a quiz. oh well, will have to get 0%. i could not stay at school, could not bear it.
pistachiorose pads are definitely disgusting, yesterday i wore a light one because my period was just starting but not heavy enough to warrant my diva cup but ugh it felt so awful all day.
GOD THIS HURTS EVERYWHERE i can't even walk and when people try and talk to me i'm like GET THE fork AWAY FROM ME ilike being alone when i'm in this pain.

beeyell i was crying monday night too, feeling rreally strange, and now i'm hoping it was just PMS - i think that's what it was. what i cried about is something that still hurts, but i haven't cried over it in a month or so, so it was out of character for me. sorry you were feeling sad, i hope you feel better now. the breakouts are really frustrating, too. uncontrollable! so strange. mine is pretty tame this time, but i still had a whitehead or two and they get itchy sometimes. lame.
attn everybody
buy some cramp bark and steep it with ginger to make a tea. drink it while hot, your cramps will be gone in half an hour, i guarantee it.
i feel better. :)

Sweet crampy jesus I hate being a woman sometimes. Since I went back on the pill my periods aren't usually awful, but the last couple have been killer. I could not feel more bloated and gross right now if someone shoved a helium tank up my asparagus.
I really wish I had called out of work today. Ugh.

I've had my period for 3 weeks now. And I'm on BCP, but I am hoping this is because of my new Rx and the stress because I don't want it to be a cyst. It's tapering off so I think I'm going to avoid the doctor for now . . . Stupid uterus!
