Oh man, you'd like my house then! I have an amazing lavender mix from a professional grade supplier and I burn it regularly. I also put the clean bed linen into a plastic tub under the bed with a few drops of lavender. Fresh bed day smells heavenly in this house! My friend puts a couple of drops of essential oil on the floor carpet in her car and it smells fantastic, I'm going to start doing that too... only not lavender, sleeeeeeepy!

That sounds so good! What is the lavender mix? I put lavender essential oils in the fabric softener part in the drawer of my washing machine so everything smells a little like lavender. I am genuinely getting excited talking about lavender. I think this is why people think I am strange (not because of the lavender love but the excitement).

It's lavender, roman chamomile and sweet marjoram. I'm running low on supplies and need to restock soon. I'm always worried the suppliers will close down with the shiitake economy and I'll never get it again!
I'd LOVE to go to a lavender farm <3! We are old ladies SJ, ooooooold ladies before our time.

It is true, I am such an old lady. I have old-before-her-time pride, though.
Lavender farm sounds amazing!

There's a lavender farm in the New Forest near me - I keep driving by, but I've never been. Maybe a PPK day trip some time?

I am having yet another mascara crisis.
It needs to be brown, and lengthening and volumising really. Things I've tried: Aveda - looked great on but was down my face before I left the house Beauty without Cruelty - OK but a bit weedy ELF - 2 different types, on one the brush was so hard it actually hurt my lashes, the other was just OK, are there any great ones? Inika - down my face after 3 seconds Origins - like a lot but my supply from when they still sold it is running very low Lavera - only just got this, it's OK nothing special
HELP me please!

Mac- Studio Fix, Dazzle Lash, Zoom lash, and Plush Lash all come in brown, according to their website, but as for what you want out of a mascara, all mascaras sound the same to me so you'd have to decide for yourself!
Someone said a while ago that Revlon don't do animal testing, but you'd have to chase them up for the list in ingredients and I haven't a clue who they're owned by.

Oh thanks. There's a Mac in Birmingham and I'm going next weekend so I'll have a look at those. I didn't realise Mac have vegan stuff. Does anyone know if they label in the shop or should I print lists out?

I thought MAC had at least 2 vegan mascaras. I bought Zoom lash, it was on Cruelty free face. But now I don't see any mascaras on the CFF list anymore?
Anyway; Zoom lash: I find it a bit to clumpy. I personally had good results with the Aveda Mosscara so I'm going back to that one.

MAC don't label as vegan and actually pretty much everything is labelled as may contain carmine. So if it's not already on Melisser's list, you have to email them directly with the exact product and shade and they'll tell you if it's vegan.
And the staff have no clue either, they don't have a list of vegan products.

Have you had a look at the GOSH make-up in Superdrug? I'm liking their mascara, but I only have the black one. I bought a blue Barry M one to replace my sadly completely dried up B Never Too Busy one, but it was rubbish - it turned into flaky dust almost immediately.

Does anyone know of a product that is just like sudocrem? I loved this stuff so much in my pregan days. Like so much. It helped me with shaving rash, spots, cuts, eczema ... EVERYTHING!!! Is there anything like it that is vegan?

Only one of GOSH's mascaras is vegan, the Looooong mascara, but I've never seen it in a superdrug here, I think I had to order it online. I know you said you didn't like ELF's mascara but I just bought one and do quite like it. It's not the greatest mascara ever but it's pretty good.

Nice work hana! I've ordered the Hurraw mint and the black cherry, I fancy the black cherry for over the top of lipstick when going out and as a subtle day colour. I love mint lip balm but haven't found a good once since body shop (boooo!).

I got the hurraw chai and the crazy rumors gumball and cola ones at the Bristol Vegan Fayre on Saturday, which is where I found out about the site. I love them all, though I think I prefer the Hurraw over the CR texture wise. I was a massive BonneBell Lipsmackers fan in my teenage years, so this has been plugging the gap nicely! I am very tempted by the Cinnamon Hurraw for the tint.
