I can't get to a gym as of late so I need stuff I can do at home.
I currently only have 30 day Shred, which is fine but I'd like some variety, probably longer videos. I wouldn't mind suggestions for all types of exercises too. I see the yoga thread, for example. Give us your suggestions for:
Toning Aerobics Balance ball (I have an underused one) Fun dancy exercise (whatever you dig- belly dancing, hooping, whatever)

I really love Jillian Micheal's Banish Fat Boost Metabolism. The sparkpeople youtube channel has some good workout videos, including one with an exercise ball.

I love Davina McCall's dvds, she's English and they're avail. on Amazon. I have Super Body Workout, High Energy 5, Power of 3 and 30 Minute Workouts. She also has a new one out called Davina Fit, I haven't ordered it yet. She has a pair of personal trainers and they are in the videos with her. They do aerobics, pump, boxing, core and stretching and each dvd has a mix of work outs that you can do all together or just pick one if you're short on time. Super Body Workout has the longest workouts (about 40 mins) the rest of the dvds are 20-30 minute workouts. They're a lot of fun and I never get sick of them. I also have the two Aussie Ministry of Sound dance workouts plus one of the English ones. They're fun and really high energy workouts.

Are you ready to laugh forever? Cardio Cheer.
But I'm serious. The Power workout and stretching videos are awesome. I don't really do the other ones, and have since just thrown the exercises/moves/stretches into my own routine. But still, the only workout videos that have ever actually been awesome are these, Tae-Bo, and P90X.

I've been into Cathe Friedrichs' exercise DVD's for the past several months. I've accumulated a big collection of her workouts - she's been around for years, and it's all way tough. My favorite Cathe for toning: Muscle Max. My favorite for cardio: Low Max (step aerobics, so you need a step) and Kick, Punch, & Crunch (only a stability ball is needed for the abs section). My favorite lower body workout: Butts & Guts (also uses a stability ball).

I did "Disco Abs" from the on-demand cable and it was silly fun, but I think the cheer might be more effective.

The new Bob Harper Inside Out Method is awesome. I have the strength DVD and was able to get it at Target for $12. It is a really tough workout but really awesome.

I've done almost all of the Ripped workouts, and they all kick asparagus. You do need dumbells. I've done 90X and Jillian Michaels DVDs, lots of cardio kickbox, but these remain amongst the most brutal of my vid library: http://www.jarilove.com/

Fitness Magazine just listed Bob Harpers Inside Out Method Pure Burn Super Strength, as a top 10 workout dvd. They said a 140 pound woman would burn 572 calories.

I just found bodyrock.tv, which has a whole bunch of videos. I just did yesterday's workout today and it felt SO good.

Kitteh wrote: I also have the two Aussie Ministry of Sound dance workouts plus one of the English ones. They're fun and really high energy workouts. Kitteh, they sound like really fun dvds! I think I'll have to add them into my collection! I really enjoy Inch-Loss Yoga and with Susan Fulton. Her Brittish accent is really nice to listen to, and the workouts are good for beginners like me, as they build intensity gradually so I get w workout, but I'm not dying at the end of it or wanting to vomit like I was when doing the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. I also do belly dance drill dvds, which aren't full-on workout, but they do focus on muscle toning and I work up a sweat. I use Arms & Posture and Isolations & Drills by Rachel Brice mostly.

Youtube has a load, I'm using it for yoga...
If you use Miro or similar, you can save them for offline use, too.

Oh god you guys, I've been doing Jillian Michaels' "No More Trouble Zones" (eww what an embarrassing title, I am ashamed of it) at least every other day for two weeks (alternating with P90X and sometimes the 30 Day Shred when I'm feeling tired/too busy) and I love it! I love that crazy bisque and her old school mat moves. I have reasonably strong arms from vinyasa yoga and pretty strong legs from biking/hiking, but my core has always sucked. Jillian is kicking my core in gear. Ew, workout terminology is so cringe-inducing. Anyway, I like it!
