If both the bike and the desk are stable enough, I don't hate the bike desk. SO if anyone wants to send it to me instead, I'm good with it.

I want the rope climb thing only if it comes with my fifth grade class standing around watching me flail. Authenticity!

I kind wish you had posted this earlier, because honestly, what am I going to do with this bike desk now!? Gift fail.

I am disappointed that it doesn't appear that you can ride your bike desk, only drive into it, go to work, and then back out.

Also, what kind of person doesn't want to climb a rope that never ends?

I feel the same way about the bike desk. It doesn't make much sense. It's not hard to get off a bike, so I can only assume it's supposed to save space since you don't have to find a space to park your bike AND a space for a chair.

. . . and now they just keep climbing it,
forever, just because. . . *return to beginning*. . .

Yeah. That somewhat defeats the purpose of the bike desk. Who wants to sit on a bike if you can't peddle? Plus, my seat has the least amount of padding possible (just how I like it), so my asparagus would hurt from just sitting on it all day.

Ewww...I take back my earlier statement of kinda wanting this. I live 25 miles away from work and would have no use for just parking a bike.

Yeah I wanted that bike desk at first thinking I could pedal it, but with a harder look... well that's just annoying.

It seems stupid to build that desk without built in rollers! I could understand wanting the exercise, like the trend in standing desks, but bikes are not comfortable chairs.

It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to make that desk with a built-in trainer.

Oh yeah, and I kind of do want a never ending rope. But I'd want to build it into the wall and make it look like a rock formation or something, so all you see is the rope. Man, that would be cheesy.

I don't know, sometimes I think it would be nice to have crabs but then I stop and wonder about the ethics of having crabs and whether or not it's vegan.
