I thought it might be fun to have a thread with what's on sale at what grocery store.
I may have seen Biscoff (aka speculoos!!) on sale at the Whole Foods Symphony for sale. I forget the price; it was still a little high. I resisted because I'm trying to buy fewer cookies and sweets. (As of today, 5/9)
I bought protein powder instead. There was a brand that I'd never heard of on sale.
Strawberries were buy one get one at Stop and Shop on Sunday (5/8). They didn't look nearly as delicious as the ones at WF, but I think they'll still be delish in smoothies and cereal. Plus, I had to BOGO, right?

You can get really cheap strawberries at Haymarket! I got a pint for $1 a couple weeks ago and they were reeeeally tasty. Of course everything is pretty cheap there.

It's been so long since I last did a Haymarket trip... Perhaps it is in order this weekend to celebrate the end of my student teaching. Thanks for reminding me it exists!

I don't think I've done a proper Haymarket visit. I usually get overwhelmed. The Copley Farmers' Market it starting May 17 though! I imagine others will be soon, too?

Whole Foods had some great "2 for $x" deals today. My favorite Nature's Gate cereal (Crunchy Vanilla Sunrise) was 2 for $7!
Also, Sunshine burgers, 2 for $7(I think?) Alexia brand french fries were on sale. I passed them by though because I like just cutting up a sweet potato and baking it better.
Not on sale, but they had cherries!!!

Just discovered I can get tofu for $.99 at Market Basket in Somerville. I figured it was GMO, but the soybeans are not GMO (though not sure about whatever else went into it, which I'm ok with for $.99) WAY better than the $2.50 tofu! :) It is however, not organic. Which I am also ok with, being broke.

We do have shaws. I may have to go over there and get some. I love almond breeze unsweetened! (If that sale brings it below the market basket pricepoint)

FYI, if anyone's looking for MimicCreme, Shaw's at Prudential has it in the natural foods area, finally! They had both sweetened and unsweetened, and it was on sale for $3.49.

Ocean State Job lot currently has some vegan body care products for cheap. They have items from Organix Haircare, Alba, Ban, Pure & Natural, and The Natural Dentist.
I found these at the Ocean State Job lot in South Kingston, RI, but I know that all the Job Lot stores tend to have similar stock, so if you live near one it may be worth looking into.
