Your roses look like mine did last summer when spiders were eating them. I dumped a bunch of baby powder on/around my rose bush, and it seemed to help keep the spiders away.
I love everything else. I'm amazed that you've already picked such beautiful produce.

The potato bags are smart pots, pots made from felt. They provide really good aeration for the roots and can be re-used. If you're really crafty, I'm sure one could be sewn with heavy duty felt.
Yep, that's rainbow chard and dino kale. I'm pretty sure that slugs are eating the roses. Spiders aren't fans of eating foliage, just bugs.
