Things just got a whole lot more groovy folks, so get ready to get yer ya-yas out on the dance floor 'cause there's a vegan prom coming to Vancouver! We're gathering input from the community, and if you have an opinion we'd love to hear about it. Here's the link to the survey we're circulating. Please take a minute to fill it out before Sunday, June 12th, 2011. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=tcJrWX9trk6eiBDWGjSWwgQThe prom will be open to vegans, vegetarians, and our allies in the greater Vancouver region, as well as any of our brethren from elsewhere in BC (Victoria, better come on over and represent!), and even from Seattle and PDX (Ms. jdfunks, I am lookin' at you lady). If you're interested in volunteering, don't forget to include your email address in the survey or give us a shout at veganpromyvr@gmail.com and let us know how you'd like to get involved. Dancing, eating, dressing up (if that's your thing), maybe some door prizes or raffle prizes, drinks, photos, music... basically a big vegan-themed party :)

It's on my birthday! So I'm not sure if I'll be going or not--also, large crowds of people I don't know freak me out--but I do relish the chance to dress up, so maybe!
