I thought the scene with Tywin butchering the animal was boring and it went on for too long. And Littlefinger was just going on about his love for Cat.

I always want to get to the next chapter before stopping so I forget to go to sleep and I go to bed thinking about it too.

Okay, I'm finally hooked. It is funny after we spent a month playing Battles of Westeros to fight with my boyfriend about which of our sides are cuter (I play the Lannisters).

But also, it's a pretty great show. I've only seen 2.5 episodes so I won't read too much on here for now.

Fun fact and point of pride for Midwesterners - apparently George Martin based the whole 'winter is coming' terrible weather on a period of time when he was teaching in Dubuque, IA and experienced a horrible (probably pretty standard) winter. Hardy Iowans represent!

I didn't really care for Drogo at first but I'm totally digging that relationship now.

I watched the trailer for next week's episode and now I'm worried! Things are getting so intense! And all of you book people say they are only going to get worse - yikes!
