I guess I was thinking the same thing as Ghost Lips and Adah...
New Misfits (American Psycho, Famous Monsters) > New Danzig.
Old Misfits > everything else ever recorded.

I really, really want to watch this show. It's been on my to watch list for quite some time. The character Nathan seems really interesting. I have more free time now, so I should really start watching it.

Apparently he's not returning for the 3rd series though so that sucks

Oh shiitake! The episode I'm watching right now has a kid whose power is making milk explode (??) and he can use it to kill people who have eaten dairy by making it climb back up and get stuck in their throats!
One more reason to go vegan: super villains can't getcha.

Old Misfits > everything else ever recorded. That sums it up. I guess there's nothing left to say. Nope. I am violently opposed to non-Danzig Misfits. I am pro-Danzig, but modern Danzig is not so good. So I would alter your statement slightly to say that ALL Danzig > new Misfits but Samhain > new Danzig.

I have to say, I saw "The Misfits" last year--scare quotes because it's not the Misfits without Danzig--and they really sucked. No attempt at actually singing the lyrics, they just plowed right through the songs as fast as they cool. I get that hardcore is fast and sloppy, but this was just awful. It made every song sound the same.

One more reason to go vegan: super villains can't getcha. There's a plot flaw in that episode: you see Simon eating pizza with cheese on it, but in series one he says he doesn't like cheese.

My dad only eats cheese on pizza. He hates it otherwise. I just assumed Simon was the same.
I love this show. So much. Everything about it. Especially Nathan and Simon.

I finally got around to watching the first episode. I love it! And I was totally right in saying I would probably love Nathan, he's hilarious. I was going to only watch one episode tonight, but I saw the preview for the next one and now I have to watch episode two.

I just finished the entire thing, and watched the extra online clips. It's brilliant. I love it and I'm so excited for series 3 and the online short. I'm really sad that Nathan isn't coming back, he was perfect in the scene in Nikki's house (crapping on her bed). I'm not one for potty humor (in the least) but his character made that shine and I couldn't stop laughing.
Simon and Alisha together are so great. I already knew it was going to happen (I read spoilers a lot) but everything about their coming together was really beautiful.
I can't wait to see what the new powers are!

Simon is sooo awesome. I love the series, just finished watching seasons 1 and 2. Can't wait for 3! (Oh and I thought the same thing about the milk guy!)

I'm sort of confused by the last couple of episodes. Didn't Curtis rewind to before Simon finding out about Fimon? So why does he still know in the Christmas special?
Also, the video that Fimon has of Alisha being interviewed is from the same aborted timeline. So how does he have it?

I don't understand how that video still existed in Fimon's timeline. VERY CONFUSING! Was there an alternate timeline in which they still got famous, but didn't die? I kind of feel like that was a fuck-up because it makes no sense at all.

I think a lot of this will be explained by the new powers (the video and how he knew certain things would happen and when [but then that goes into really confusing time travel territory, meant to happen and all that]). I think Alisha would have told him eventually or something else made him suspicious enough to follow her. She might have been lonely.
