I just felt rotten, and we had a mock survey @ work, wherein I was PMS-y and wanted to strangle people for breathing.

Seeing that Typhoon or tropical storm Megi is now going to pass HK pretty close when I am supposed to be flying out. I don't want to get delayed, feel like I've been away too long already. That makes me sound a whine, but really, 6 weeks and all.

Finding out that someone I love insists on making things harder for themselves and their family for no reason other than difficulty is a familiar.

I came within inches of hitting a jogger yesterday because she ran out in front of me without looking. Not the tiniest movement of even thinking about looking over her shoulder. Obviously she has a death wish!

I couldn't bring myself to do anything today, never even left my room (I mean, my apartment, which is a room. a very small one).
I'm sad because I haven't had any non-internet human interaction for several days, my bike got stolen yesterday, and this morning I found that one of my dearest friends might not be in Vancouver when I get back.
This is what happens when I have too much time to myself: I don't do anything. I basically just sleep and eat and waste time on the internet. Good thing I'll be back to school on Monday and back to my usual routine. Ugh.

I put too much sweet chilli sauce in my ramen.
I went to make peppermint frosting for white chocolate cupcakes (A Christmas cupcake experiment) and found that I have no icing sugar.
I'm getting reeeaaalllly lazy.

catching my pinkie and ring finger on my left hand between the external door to my apartment block and the massive box of marking and teacher stuff I was bringing in from my car. I have cut the knuckle on the ring finger and both fingers are red and swollen but bendable. owwwwch!
The 15 (15!) minutes one of my classes took to settle and be quiet today- not even the epic raised eyebrow 'I will kill you!' face worked. sigh- thank goodness for half term next week.

Seeing a truck of pigs going to slaughter on my drive home from Vancouver. They were sticking their heads through the slots watching the traffic as I drove by and I wanted to stop the truck, buy them all, and take all 50+ of them home to my small apartment.

My job is to give advice. It is very, very hard to watch people refuse good advice. I know what I'm talking about, these are safety issues, someone will get killed.
I have to just repeat my mantra, "I am only responsible to give the best advice I can, as clearly as I can. It is not my responsibility if they refuse to follow it." Repeat x a million.

I accidentally broke someone's pottery in the studio. A bag of clay fell off my shelf on to theirs. I feel terrible about it. The stupid shelves aren't secured so can tip. I'm not the first to do it as I saw several bags of clay behind on the floor.

the guy i work with had a huge seizure, slammed his forehead on the table, then kept falling forward out of his chair and landed headfirst on the floor. i still feel pretty terrible.

I am extremely anal about showering EVERY SINGLE DAY (just ask dakini), yet today I felt completely unmotivated and depressed to where I barely got out of bed... which means, yes, I didn't shower..
I feel so gross.
