I love asking people what classes they are taking. I think it's so fascinating to find out what people are interested in, or what they have to take for their degree. Surely I'm not the only one?
In the fall, I'm taking Animal Physiology, Introductory Microbiology, Biochemistry I: Biomolecules, and two out of the following three: East Asian Religions, Introductory Psychology II, and a Religious Studies class called Death & Dying. Not sure yet what I'm going to do about my last two classes, but over July and August I'm taking Introductory Psychology I (and World Regional Geography) so hopefully that will help me decide if I want to take the second psych or not.
What are you taking? Anything you're particularly excited about?

A whole pile of junk!
Intro to Financial Accounting Intro to Microeconomics Statistics for Business and Economics College Algebra (embarrassing) Principles of Management Information Systems Analysis and Logical Design
I guess I'm most looking forward to Analysis and Logical Design, because it's in the context of MIS and I don't think anyone has learned/applied any kind of logic to most networks. There is a computer ethics class that's being offered that I'm pretty interested in but I don't think I can squeeze it in. This will be my first semester at this particular school, so 18 credit hours should probably be my max.

I'm taking Nursing III and I am super-excited about it. Last year, I was kicked out of the Nursing program. I was passing without a problem and then I second-guessed myself on the final exam and changed my answers... which put my final grade 0.99 points below passing. Yes, I failed by less than one full point. However, I sucked it up, took Math and Nutrition this past spring, reapplied for the Nursing program, and I'm back in! This is my final year. I have to retake Nursing III but I'm fine with it... I can't wait to graduate, pass the boards, and become an R.N.!

Photographic Problems, Professional Practices of Photography, Film Noir, Writing: The Creative Professional in Context, Computer Studio I.
I should be more excited than I am. The classes are predetermined for the major and sound mostly awesome, but sleepless nights and no free time, here I come!

I may take five, but I hope I can take all six: TV Language, Organizational Communication, Quantitative Methodology, Radiophonic Production, Journalism Workshop and Communications, Industry and Power (I failed this one on purpose, sigh).
If some of those sound weird is because I translated them, ha.

I'll let you know when I decide on a major! Ack. Here's what its (tenatively) narrowed down to: Early Childhood Development, Paralegal, Sociology, Journalism. Gen eds are out of the way so I need to buckle down and do some core classes.

Also, I'm taking Human Development through the Lifespan.

I'm not sure if that is a joke? :) I really enjoyed logic design classes in college even if I'm not really a computer hardware type person.

Management of History Museums and Oral History. Plus I have to finish up some requirements for my internship, but that's not a whole class, really.

Oi...five to six classes? How're you guys doing it? Here, a full course-load is 3-4 courses (equaling between 15-20 credits) per quarter!
I don't sign up until this Thursday, and I'm praying that there are still spots left in Intro to Lit and Culture, Reading Lit, Modern and Post Modern Lit (nobody's signed up for this yet, so I think I'll be ok...yay!), and Writing Prose. If I can't get into one of the first two, Intro to Linguistic Thought or Syntax I.
The problem with this is that all the courses I need to take are Year 3-4 (jr. and sr. courses) as I already have all my general ed. credits due to the transfer. But most all of the people who have signed up already have, so most of the courses I need to take are full or close to full.
Yeah...nerdy English Linguistics major who is way too excited to be back in school.

TheAmazonProject wrote: I don't know yet, because we don't register for classes until the week before they start! Wow, really? That sucks a lot, for not knowing what books to buy, not knowing where your classes are, and for being stuck with whatever's left after all the upperclassmen who've waited until the week before classes to register have registered.
