I hate to name a favorite poet (I mean, how can I choose just one!) but she's definitely one of them. I especially admire her for her incredible work with imagery. I get chills just thinking about her abilities... I'll keep that in mind! I'm stoked, especially since the class is with a professor that I really like. Sounds like an awesome class!

Yay! I think this sort of thing is interesting too, though no one ever takes classes like mine, ha.
Plant Pathology Trees and Shrubs Physics III (which I'm retaking because I flaked in the spring...) "The Mobile Earth" (an Intro Geology course!)
I want to be a soil ecologist/biogeochemist when I grow up! Ha. But I am a plant biology major presently.

Introduction to Educational & Social Research Drug & Alcohol Theory & Policy
Either: The Impact of Drug & Alcohol Missuse on Children OR Leading People
Am I really going back to school... again? YAY! (I'll regret that "yay" about halfway through first semester, then I'll get over it, then regret, then over. Oh, the rollercoaster of emotions.)

If some of those sound weird is because I translated them, ha. Scratch that, I'm taking Prácticas Profesionales 1 (the class I failed didn't appear in this semester's schedule, hmm) and that means I have to look for a job to pass D:!

It's going to be tough to choose. I've already taken a MH & SA class, but not from the Scottish/UK point of view. But I also want to take leadership classes so I can be a supervisor of a site someday.

I'm just starting my first year of an English degree. It's pretty cool because I get to pick two English courses and then three of whatever else I feel like!! For electives I'm taking History: The Modern World, Human Development, and Intro to Philosophy. I can't wait to feed my brain - she's hungry!

Maybe see if they have a Career Service Department or something like that? That is who will help me. The department itself will help me with my required (unpaid) internship. If nothing else, maybe they'll give you leads? I really hope that they help you.

I'm not going to be taking any classes because I'll just be finishing up my thesis (master's) and taking my oral exams!
Good luck to everyone, especially you folks starting grad school.

I'm starting my doctorate in the fall and will be taking a graduate seminar on literary theory and a Japanese literature seminar on modern free verse poetry (we're studying a lot of avant garde, grotesque, and other poetic styles/genres that they don't often cover in Japanese poetry courses, which is pretty neat!). I'll also be taking Korean, which is my required secondary Asian language, and which I'm super excited about!
I'm also teaching an awesome course with the unfortunate title "Masterpieces of Japanese Literature."

Apparently they do help you out : ) But...when I talked to our coordinator today, she said that I should take another class instead of that one because if I don't take it now, I'd have to be in school for another semester and I DO NOT want that D: ha. The good thing is that I can take the class next summer.

Oh damn. I found ANOTHER class that I want to take. It's a history class called Earliest Civilizations. If I took it, I would have exams on December 9th, 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th. If I took my other top choice, the Death & Dying one, it would be TWO on the 9th, then 12th, 14th, and 15th. Of course I could eliminate the class with the exam on the 12th, take both of these, and then have 9th x2, 13th, 14th, 15th.
It's hard having so many choices because I reeeeally don't know what would be best.

Every college that I've gone to, the new students have to pick their classes really early and the upperclassmen have to wait. Which means, I have no answer yet!

Only one class, and its technically a first year class so they can get dibs before me :( I need a language pertinent to Religious Studies, and they aren't offering any others this year, and I hate to put it off until my last year.

It's so weird how everyone's school does things differently in terms of who gets to pick their classes earliest. At my school, you have a different day assigned to you depending first on your number of credit hours, and within the credit hour categories, it goes in alphabetical order. But for fall classes, everyone registers in March/April, and then people who get early conditional acceptance register in May. I'm not sure when people who get regular acceptance register, because I had early conditional, but I think they register in July.
