Okay, I've looked up some info on the KF cheevo. The crossbow is a sharpshooter weapon, so spend a little time in single player on easy headshotting zeds to build up a level or two of sharpshooter. This also means that the first round will be just killing for money unless we can find crossbows.
The Scrake is the chainsaw one. By the looks of the cheevo graphic, it's probably the monkey man.

I'm off in 3 hours though, so I'll try and fiddle with it.

BAD, what difficulty did you encounter the Scrake on? It'd probably go faster if we can find it on Easy.

I did normal because I default to that, it doesn't specify a difficulty level although it's sometimes wonky with counting kills etc for achievements.
Notoriously with Stalkers, Sirens and Bloats though. I've never had much issue getting Scrake Achievements.

Generally 1 a round until you get into the later rounds. Then you get 2-4.

Ok, so I linked my youtube account and on youtube it shows steamcommunity blah blah as an allowed site user but trying to access video on steam produces a consistent 'error connecting to your youtube account' etc.
Also I don't see where the achievement for posting a video is listed?

Also I don't see where the achievement for posting a video is listed? It's been de-listed as far as I can tell. Which is good, because it kind of encouraged Steam users to spam Youtube with lame videos.

Well yes. But there's a kind of difference between Steam telling people to upload whatever to Youtube and people naturally uploading dumb stuff to Youtube.

I'm probably going to pop quite a few cheevos playing Killing Floor tonight. I haven't played it online at all.

The time is drawing nigh! Run your games once, just to make sure you're up on the patches (especially Spiral Knights, make a character, we'll sort out how to party in-game) so we can jump right into them!

I might be able to do tomorrow. MAYBE
Okay, so zero cheevos unlocked. How about some lessons learned?
Cold Stream has changed, and it is not easy. At the end of map 2, do not let yourself get pulled to the end of the tunnel. If someone gets sucked into it, they're a goner so don't try to save them! Stick together for the finale, because the last man will get downed by a tank, the guy who goes to save him will get punched off the tower by said tank, and the survivor who came in mid-campaign won't get the cheevo anyway.
There is zero matchmaking in Killing Floor. Zero. If you want to host, you need to forward a half dozen ports. Trying to get a game going on an empty public server will just attract random other people and the server was empty to begin with because it's running Hell on Earth difficulty.
Spiral Knights is a lot of fun but laggy as hell. The Firecracker bomb costs 3000 crowns, and by the time the two of us reached the first terminal, I only had 800 something, so getting 3000 is either going to take more people (presuming more people=more monsters and drops) or a good amount of time. Don't hit exploding blocks, just shoot them from a distance.
I'm going to try to fix the Killing Floor problem by forwarding my ports so I can host. I'll do the same for whatever games I can think of that don't have matchmaking, like MNC.
I'm going to make an event for Friday night, unless no one can do Friday night.

I'm trying to think what my friend matt did to set up the original server we use. Whenever I tried to host for chia to play it brought up a dialogue box then crashed.

I've scheduled the Friday event for 7pm CDT (0000 GMT). We'll do Killing Floor first, probably, then either Left 4 Dead 2 (takes about an hour) or MNC (not too many people own it). Spiral Knights may take a while, so that's last.
