This show has quickly become one of my favorites. I love it! I love how it doesn't matter how implausible the basic storyline is; it's just so much fun, and heartwarming, and funny, and touching. They have musical numbers every so often! I love the frequent Broadway guests, the hilarious impossibility of some (not all! which is great!) of the cases, Margaret Cho, the recurrence of Paula Abdul as a judge...and of course, the amazing lead. Brooke Elliot is amaaazing!

I love it too, though the new season is losing some of the zip. And Grayson is so freaking boring!

Margaret Cho is great.

I watched it on Netflix, then discovered that Lifetime has the episodes on their site after they air. Yay!

Yes Grayson is absolutely the weakest link. Last season seemed so much more compelling...maybe I'm just torn over the lack of chemistry between Stacy and Fred (like her little brother!) and the crazy asparagus camel case from tonight. Hopefully it gets its groove back. But still, all so fun. Next week looks amazing! Same-sex prom date case (starring the bad actress from the gymnastics show on abc family!) replete with all kinds of gay celebrities. Seriously, that's what it said in the preview. So funny - 'Wanda Sykes! Clay Aiken! Lance Bass!' I love it.

RJM, you got me to watch this and I do enjoy it. I only saw a couple episodes that were on On Demand, but it's cute. I'd like to watch more. I should set up a series recording for it.

i think its my favorite show too!!! tonights episode was pretty good, she better stay with her Dr though!! Brooke Elliott really is amazing. She so beautiful, has a fab voice, and I want to be her character. And I love Fred and Deb (though meh about them together). I like Greyson too. And the boss. Pretty much everyone!

This show is bonkers. It could have been a complete train wreck, but luckily it features Paula Abdul wearing a sequined judge's robe. Which totally redeems it in my book.

Yes I love that it's bonkers! For me, it achieves what Glee can't - the unbelievability is perfectly acceptable.

right, its got such a nice fairy tale quality to it where anything can happen, but its balanced with enough drama to just be wonderful

True....if it weren't for our health care I wouldn't be able to see drop dead diva cause my eyeballs would have exploded (ok, maybe I'm hyperbolizing).

But still....I want to watch more!

I watched the 13 episodes or so that are on netflix when I had strep throat. It's not that type of thing I normally like, but I enjoyed it. I love how she's a lawyer who does EVERY KIND OF CASE EVAR. Plus, the law stuff is terribly, terribly researched, and all the court scenes are chock full of errors. I enjoy that kind of thing.

Haha me too I love that. I don't know if you are being sarcastic but I'm serious. It's so hilarious. She does EVERYTHING! And it all gets resolved in a day! And she doesn't need experts! Or discovery orders! So funny.

Yeah, I do like it, actually. I used to study evidence by watching CSI at the gym and picking out all the errors. It was really effective! I do the same thing with lots of legal shows, and I feel like it helps me bone up on procedural issues oftentimes, since if I can't remember a rule or something, I'll usually look it up.

Haha that's awesome! I usually just yell at the tv when I notice mistakes but your way is much better. :)

Truth.

Does anyone else kind of want to give Stacey a hug? She's so adorably dim, and so loyal. Love her.
