I'm interested but doubting my ability to remember since it isn't happening for a long time.

We can actually register for a PPK team if we want. Or we can register as individuals. If we register as a team then I think we fundraise as a team. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Okay I registered and set up the team. So now when you register, you can select teams from a drop down menu. We are Bay Area PPK.
I didn't know what to put for a team fundraising goal since I'm not sure how many are registering, so for now it's at $500. I think we can change it.

Awesome! I'll sign up today or tomorrow!
I just want to say up front, though, that I won't really get started fundraising until October, since I'll be spamming everyone I know for the Ride to Light century ride up until late September! I hope that doesn't bother anyone.

I just registered. Yay!
I was looking at the fundraising tips (as I mentioned, I am terrible at it). They suggest a bake sale to raise funds. We should totally do one, guys!

I'm signed up!
I think a bake sale would be great because i'm way too shy to ask people to just randomly give me money.
Also, I wasn't sure what size of tshirt I wanted or what my fund raising goal was. I think I got both of the questions wrong.

The fundraising goal you can change. Not sure about the shirt. I didn't know what to put for shirt either.
The only people I feel okay asking for money are my parents, and they donated $25 this morning. So I'm definitely down with a bakesale!

I registered but I did it wrong. I clicked on the "virtual" thing cause I kind of thought that just meant because I was signing up online ... then realized I can't participate in the walk now. Oops.

Maybe if you email they will let you switch? That's silly you just can't switch it yourself online.

Bump!
So do you guys want to start planning a bake sale? I was thinking we could do one in the SF area and one in Santa Cruz. And maybe one in the south bay but I don't really know where to hold it.

Yes! Is it okay if we wait a couple of weeks to have it though? I just had surgery on my foot yesterday and I'm on crutches for a few weeks which will cramp my baking style.
(of course I realize I'm only one person and so if everyone else votes me down I understand!)

Totally! It actually might be best for me to wait until after the weekend of September 18th. Can't guarantee I'll have any free time before that.

Ooh I want to do this too! Kelly and I did it two years ago and we liked it. I like Jordan won't be able to do much fundraising until October (or much of anything really since I'm moving/doing the ride), but I am down!
