I won't be able to come :( I found out that I'm not allowed to take time off during that period because there are too many other people out of the office during the middle weeks of August. I'm planning October hiking trips in VT to console myself, but it won't be nearly as fun.

If you have to get a flight, Friday, and can't find anything reasonable to Asheville you are welcome to see what flights to my neck of the woods or even Orlando cost. I am leaving on Thursday with sir Toby.

I think we can work it out somehow. We are renting a van and it might get crowded but hopefully the van has a roof rack.

I'm going to fly. I'm too anxious about leaving home for too many nights, tho girlfriend and flaming suitcase are reassuring me they've got it covered. And I want to maximize my veganstock time.

Hike ends around noon. It would take an hour or so to get to the airport from Mt Pisgah.
