Oh yes, I saw that... I also noticed a hummus and roasted vegetable flatbread thing, I didn't buy it but I scanned the ingredients and it looked vegan from what I remember. Same goes for these little packs of vegetable crudites and beetroot hummus.
And, while I'm on the subject of Waitrose lunch type things, I'm not sure if they do them in all their branches, but they sell little boxes of sushi made by Taiko or something. Some of the vegetable ones aren't vegan, due to having egg in, but the small vegetable pack is all good. There are 6 maki rolls (two each of cucumber, yellow pepper and kanpyo, which are super yummy) plus an inari pocket. It's actually the best shop bought sushi I've ever eaten... and I've eaten a lot!

They used to do a little packet of vegan hazelnut pralines but they discontinued them a few years ago.

Waitrose do amaretto soaked cherries covered in dark chocolate which happen to be vegan. I am sat on a bus right now, stuffing my face with them.

I found this new all vegetarian restaurant in Tooting. It's cheap, it's clean and most of the stuff there is vegan! It's great if you like South Indian food. http://www.saravanabhavan.com/ Unfortunately all the desserts are dairy.

I don't know if its accidentally vegan but sainsburys has a new fruit salad with sugar free raspberry coulis (sweetened with apple juice concentrate) and apple, red grapes, and pineapple dippers. I had it and for a shop bought fruit salad it was very good. I think i might recreate it sometime at home. Also M&S soya mince makes a decent spag bol

I think they have. Haven't seen it in months :-'( I order "tomato garlic bread" which looks like pizza from my local Italian place or Pizza Express. Take it home and then put vegan cheese and anything else I like on it. Put it in the oven for a few minutes and it tastes great!

You can just ask for pizza without cheese. Then again, the tomato garlic bread is probably cheaper.

sparkly writing icing in Sainsburys appears to be vegan. Sorely tempted to get it and make super girly science themed cupcakes for the Science department end of term soiree tomorrow, but resisted somehow. I'm so good!

We get Lotus biscuits from Tesco. I think I may have seen them in another shop, but I can't remember which one.

Neupe, nearly. We can get speculoos biscuits in Tesco, Waitrose, Sainsburys, Co-op (and nice fancy ones in Lidl at Christmas), but we can't yet get the spread here - and it's the spread that makes you want to whimper with sugar joy. (Which is why you can spot PPKers coming back from Europe on the Eurostar by the clinking of speculoos jars in their luggage.)

Home Bargains sell fake custard creams. I haven't studied the packet myself but someone vegan brought them to our Animal Aid meeting where everything is vegan so I assume she did. There definitely isn't anything obvious but a mega vegetarian might need to check the chemical names for things. Jojo, what's that app you've got?
