I love Bye & Bye and so I'm super excited about their new spot! The menu looks just as bar casual as the Bye & Bye, but maybe a little more refined. Have you been? What did you think?

PS If anyone has the menu can you post it? I can't find it again!

I'm exceedingly happy that they brought the North Williams drink to the new location. Probably gonna go for an early dinner today.

I like the space itself a lot. Enough dark corners to make me feel comfortable, but a nice breeze going through.

Looks great! I always order one of three things that I love at Bye and Bye. It's awesome that the menu is so different, but the flavor combinations seem like they'd be just as satisfying. I can't wait to try it!

You guys are going to come visit Portland and only try part of the menu? I don't think I could leave the town unless I tried it all!

I do not know what I would get, but it would likely include two meals.

I had the Tofu Bahn Mi, a Paloma (margarita), and a I think it was called Tequila Old Fashioned? All were really yummy! The drinks feel pretty pricey though, at about $8 a pop. And it looks like you don't get a discount on them during their happy hour. Everything actually seemed just a bit more expensive than the Bye and Bye. I tried my partners Steve Martin and let me tell you you'll only like it i you love mayo. Suuuper mayo-y. He loves mayo so it wasn't a problem! Not I though! I also tried some of the Company Daiquiri, it was really good too.

I actually dreamed about this place?! I know, I'm weird. Panders and KJ and Funkalicious and FootFace were there. Katie had two meals, and so did I. There were dogs everywhere and poor FootFace was allergic.

$8 doesn't sounds excessive to me, but fancier drinks in Vancouver are like $10.

I'm excited! The only thing I find weird is the chips & salsa sides with everything. But I'll sub gentrified kale, sir. Is this where we're going on the Thursday night?

I'm not normally a mayo-fan, but I guess it didn't bother me? I noticed it was tangier (miso) than normal, but my sandwich wasn't slathered..so yay?

The only other complaint I've heard so far (and from a few folks) is how hard it can be to find a seat!

Bye and Bye was one of the best meals I had in Portland and I'm going to start a separate savings fund for a flight and walkin' around money. This all looks so good.

Is the mayo Veganaise do you think? That's the only brand I don't mind extra of.

Pdx is definitely cheaper than Vancouver for food and drink. Those drinks felt about a buck too much. (but people are going to pay that, so of course I agree it's the smart thing for them to do.)

Yeah, what is this? Kale cooked with coconut milk? Or topped with shredded coconut? I'm curious about this.

And about the North Williams. What's in that?

I just really like torturing myself with awesome-sounding food and drink that is on the other side of the country.
