My boyfriend and I just got a place in NE Portland, and we're moving from Boston in a few weeks. Any good advice about gyms/dentists/restaurants? Or, most importantly, jobs? Anyone want to be vegan friends? lolz

I think this whole forum has plenty of information about restaurants in Portland. For dentists, I like Lincoln Dental, but it's in SE. For job, there are none.

I love my dentists at Portsmouth Dental Care in gentrified NoPo. LOVE THEM! I have had bad luck and bad dental work done by dentists, but these two guys: awesome. I have referred others to them that feel the same way.

We go to bridgeview dental downtown near 10th and washington. they are nice. and i like friends.

Restaurants/food carts (not all in NE): Portobello, Blossoming Lotus, Hungry Tiger Too (vegan corn dogs and Tater Tots!), Homegrown Smoker food cart (I love the side plate and the minted lemonade) , DC Vegetarian food cart (I love the burgers/sliders), Laughing Planet for the vegan caeser salad.
